3 TEL: (092) Institutional Profile The Universidad de Nariño is an autonomous academic institution, created under decree No. 49 of November 7, 1904, with legal entity, academic, administrative and financial autonomy and independent patrimony. Education levels offered at Universidad de Nariño range from Kindergarten to the last grade of high school, Undergraduate, Diplomas, Specializations, Master's and Doctoral programs. All programs have Qualified Registry and several hold High Quality Accreditation. The Universidad de Nariño intends to be an academic institution with regional and national leadership, with High Quality accreditation. It is also committed to fostering a culture of basic and applied institutional research in order to consolidate itself as a regional development center with national and international impact.

VISION Conceived as an event in the culture, the Universidad de Nariño is recognized for its contribution to peace, coexistence, social justice and academic and research formation from the creation of human values.
