6 Eligibility We and our partner schools are looking for well-rounded applicants who are independent, adventurous, and who adapt well to new situations. Participants must be able to expect the unexpected and thrive in a changing environment! Chinese courses are optional, but we encourage you to participate and register for classes. Acknowledge of Chinese will make your stay more enjoyable. The course is given by Chinese professors and skilled. Students may register for individual classes or groups, and can choose their level (beginner, intermediate or advanced). You will have exams at the beginning and at the end of the courses. If you choose the Chinese course, you can participate in activities. You will learn Chinese culture interesting. 9 Find your accommodation in Beijing with Beijing Auchan Transcom? You have a project to go to China for academic exchange, language learning or internship? We guide you step-by-step for your accommodation in China and in your installation. We offer you professional services for finding you your apartment in Beijing, as well as advice from our experts to facilitate your selection and signing the lease. However, we will assist you in your apartment search. We send you by photos and a description of your future roommates. It is shared apartments with two or three people (students, young professionals, etc..) Rents range from 2,500 to 3,500 RMB (approximately 360/450 EUR) per month, charges included or not, depending on the owner. It will also add 35% of the amount of rent for placement fees. The deposit will be refunded if the apartment is left undamaged. The apartments are equipped but you probably need to buy blankets, pillows and towels. PS: You can if you wish, seek your own apartment. Price is close to 4000 RMB, and Internet charges will not be included in the amount of the program.
