Machine learning in Natural language Processing Machine learning which is learning from data examples provides unique opportunities and tools in the development of resources for local languages Mobile phone programming & Reality Mining The uptake of mobile telephony in Africa has been phenomenal. There are interesting applications that we are 4

5 building for use in our local environment.
