1 District 161 Board of Education Goals Board goals set the vision for student learning and articulate beliefs about students and learning. These goals serve as the foundation for District goals and direction for school improvement. What the best and wisest parents want for their own child, that must the community want for all its children. District 161 will enhance academic, social, and emotional resources for students through program initiatives, use of data, and staff training.
