Conducted interviews in Spanish and engaged in participant observation with San Ignacio residents to gather information on labor, both domestic and agricultural, and access to natural resources such as water and agricultural land. Provide blister care, lunch and directions to nearby shelters and community kitchens. Also provide assistance for deported individuals to contact their families and document abuses that may have occurred through their contact with US agents and/or officials. Literacy Volunteer of Tucson ( ) Facilitate English learning for non-native English speakers and Tucson community members as well as provided a safe space for discussing social and cultural issues that affected the communities of colors both local, national and internationally.
