5 The form has been modified d to include a new Zell Miller Scholarship Program Type. Note: The Standard and Max Cap fields must be set to 127 for HOPE Scholarship & Zell Miller Scholarship Fund Codes.

6 The form was modified to add a new Multiple Loss indicator for the new 2 nd Loss of Eligibility Status Code (NGPA).

7 The form was modified to include a new Effective Term field and a new End Term field. These fields are used to exclude Learning Support courses from the HOPE and Zell Miller Scholarship GPA calculation, beginning Fall 2011.

14 The process was modified d to exclude Learning Support coursework, beginning with the Fall 2011 term. The process will also begin counting 1 st and 2 nd Loss of Eligibility starting with the Fall 2011 term. If a 2 nd Loss of Eligibility is calculated for HOPE Scholarship, the process also updates the status for Zell Miller Scholarship, under the new Zell Eligibility Tab of ZHAHOPE.

16 The ZORZGPA process was created td to calculate l Eligibility and Accumulation rows of data for the Zell Miller Scholarship. Eligibility is calculated based on a 3.3 GPA at various checkpoints (Three Term, Spring, 30/60/90). It is designed to exclude Learning Support courses beginning with Fall 2011 term. A 1 st and 2 nd Loss of Eligibility is counted, beginning with Fall 2011 term, as well. The HOPE Accum/Elig Process (ZORHGPA) must g be run prior to running ZORZGPA!!!!!

18 Form was modified to include a new Zell Eligibility & Accumulation Tab, which displays eligibility and term accumulation data for the new Zell Miller Scholarship.

19 HOPE Enhanced Disbursement (RPEDISB)

20 The baseline Disbursement process was modified df dto automatically apply per hour pay rates to HOPE Scholarship, HOPE Grant and Zell Miller Scholarship disbursements. (*** The per hour rates are based on the charts published by the Georgia Student Finance Commission.) For the HOPE Scholarship and the Zell Miller Scholarship, Learning Support hours are automatically excluded from payment, beginning i with ih the Fall 2011 term. Also, for terms in which the max cap hours will be reached, the difference between the max cap hours and currently enrolled hours is used in the disbursement calculation.

21 Disbursement process can be run online (ROAIMMP) or in batch (from Process Submission Controls GJAPCTL). The following MUST be set up for the new per hour amounts to be disbursed: 1. HOPE Fund Code Rules (ZFRHOPE) 2. Fund Management Form (RFRMGMT) a) Disbursement Tab check Use Attending Hours b) set Tuition Detail Codes to 100% 3. DBA s create rate table ZHRCDHR (stores Fund Code, Hours and Rates attached to hours) 4. Tuition charges must appear on the Account Detail Review Form (TSAAREV).

26 The process now extracts Zell Miller Scholarship records and includes them in the INU###.txt file produced. In addition, new Paid Hour (field 18), Learning Support Hours (field 32), HS Graduation Date (field 33) and Enrolled Hours (field 34) fields are now included in the flat file.

If no HS Grade Date appears here, then the High School Information Form (SOAHSCH) is used.) 2. Student date of HOPE Scholarship hl hi Elig. Loss (1 st and 2 nd loss) 3.
