The Five Year Global Integrated Engineering Programme will be conducted by SR International Institute of Technology (SRIIT), Hyderabad in collaboration with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH), Kukatpally, Hyderabad and University of Massachusetts Lowell (UMass Lowell), Lowell, MA, USA. The duration of the course is 5 years. For the first 3 years, the examination and evaluation patterns are being followed under JNTUH and for the remaining 2 years, students will be transferred to UMass Lowell for examination and evaluation process of UMass Lowell. The students who are not able to transfer to UMass Lowell under this programme for academic or other reasons will be allowed to continue their fourth year at SRIIT and obtain a B. ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS 1. Candidates with Intermediate Education (10+2 pattern) conducted by the A.P Board of Intermediate Education (BIE)/CBSE/ICSE with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry subjects with an overall aggregate of 60% are eligible. STRUCTURE OF GLOBAL INTEGRATED ENGINEERING PROGRAMME (GIEP) The duration of GIEP is 5 years and the students admitted have to undergo the 3 years of mandatory education at SRIIT, Hyderabad and the remaining 2 years of education at UMass Lowell, USA. However, they can choose to opt out of the course at the end of 4 th year and attain a BS degree from UMass Lowell. 4. FEE STRUCTURE Rs.1.50 Lakh per year for the first 3 years of study at SRIIT( students are eligible for scholarships based on their 10+2 marks). Fee shall be paid at the beginning of each academic year. The fee at UMass Lowell will be approximately Rs. 12 lakhs per year. (Students are eligible for scholarship at UMass Lowell depending on their first 3 years performance at SRIIT) An additional college fee of Rs and JNTU fee of Rs has to be paid every year for the first three years. 5. VISA REQUIREMENTS Students should be able to fund their fee, travel & living expenses for their stay in USA. Students are responsible to show the required financial proofs to the US Consulate for obtaining F1 student visa. SRIIT and UMass Lowell, USA will help the students in the visa process. 6.
