1 Bursary Application Form Student Name: Student ID Number: This application form should be used to apply for all types of financial support. We are unable to accept incomplete applications (which includes those with missing supporting evidence and/or photos) so please seek advice from the Bursary Team if you are unsure about any of the questions or need help. THERE IS ENTITLEMENT TO A BURSARY. Each application will be assessed and if funds are available, a bursary will be allocated subject to meeting minimum college standards. There are several funds available to help different groups of students and the rules for each are different. This means that if you are provided with support please be aware that you might get a different amount of support to other students who are on the same course. Funding is provided to Northampton College by the Government so that we are able to help you if you think you will find it difficult to attend college because of the costs involved. We can help with the cost of equipment, uniform, travel, trips and childcare. Eligibility is based on age, residency, course type and household income, although exceptional circumstances will be considered. Your household income needs to be less than 26,000 per year to be entitled for help. If there are 3 or more dependent children under the age of 18 in full time education in the household, a higher annual income of up to 30,000 may be considered. Students who meet one of the criteria below and are aged under 19 at the start of the academic year may be eligible for a bursary for vulnerable groups of up to 1,200 per year. You may be eligible for funding from additional sources and this will be taken into consideration before you are awarded a Bursary.
