Students in this program will earn a dual degree during the four-year program: a conventional MD with a concurrent MS in Integrative Medicine. The combination of Integrative Medicine explores all areas of Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM) including Ayurveda. Evidence-based health interventions are taught in conjunction with methods for improving health and health care. Focus is placed on techniques approved by the NCCIH. NCCIH is the Federal Government s lead agency for scientific research on complementary and integrative health approaches
