5 UTUITION & FEESU AICU does not participate in any government financial aid program. Tuition is on a per credit basis, and course materials are not included in the tuition. Some course materials are given free of charge to students in PDF documents. Please see page 5 and 6 of this application for payment information. Upon admission, students must officially enroll in each semester, and each semester has two terms. Enrollment must be in conformity to the semester enrollment requirement for each program as outlined below. Students may enroll in more than one semester at once, but can only progress with the required courses in one semester at a time. If any course is not completed in a term, the student must re-enroll in the course in the next term to allow him to submit his work for grading and in some cases this may extend the trimesters required to complete the program. Students must note that this will cost more than the full tuition required for the program. Therefore it is best that they proceed with the program in a timely manner. The student has the option to enroll in a full or half semester as outlined below. A student enrolled in a 1 term in any semester must enroll in the second term immediately upon completing and submitting the coursework for the last course in that first term to prevent loss of time allowing himself to proceed with the program on course and complete his coursework in a timely manner. This fee is only for the evaluation, and there is no charge for transferred credits accepted. However, there is a tuition charge of half the regular rate for actual credits granted as a result of the PLME. NOTE: Ministry evaluation for college credit is only available at the undergraduate level. All students may only transfer the maximum credits allow. See page 11, 12 and 13 of the ATC catalog or page 11 and 12 of ATS catalog for details. PLME applies to undergraduate students, while PLE applies to master s and doctoral students. Students registered for the ATI certificate program will qualify to transfer into the diploma upon completion without additional enrollment fee. Credits are accepted from accredited (CHEA/USDE and foreign equivalent) and reputable/recognized unaccredited institutions (unrecognized by CHEA/USDE or foreign equivalent) approved or authorized by the appropriate government entity (State or foreign State/National government) only. Credits from institutions outside of this category will not be accepted. Submission of proof document in this regard remains that of the student in the event the school is not recognized by AICU as been of equivalent standard. Hence to avoid any unnecessary delays, it is best to include such proof document at the time of application if the student wishes to transfer credits into AICU program. For unaccredited institutions, please submit complete copy of the syllabus for each course you wish to transfer to ascertain compatibility with AICU programs along with the official transcript before acceptance of the application. Credits from courses deemed not of equivalent standard will be accepted as PLME credits. PLME credits are 60% of the regular tuition rate. See PLME/PLE section in the catalog for the maximum accepted credits at each program level. Finally, it is very important to note that all unaccredited schools are not of the same academic standard, and AICU only recognize those of the same or equivalent legal status and academic standards.
