1 The Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) Training Schools have announced the (OCES/DGFS-2016) through GATE 2015 or GATE 2016 Scores. Graduates in Mechanical, Chemical, Metallurgical, Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, Instrumentation and Civil can apply for the same from January 19 to February 9, Check the details of the application procedure, eligibility selection and more on this page. Organization: Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) Details of the Programmes: Orientation Course for Graduates and Science Postgraduates (OCES)- This is a oneyear training program for Graduates (B.Tech /B.E. /B.Sc. -Engg/5 year Integrated M.Tech.) or Science Post Graduate (M.Sc.). The training program is conducted in the BARC Training Schools located at the five BARC Training Schools situated at Mumbai, Kalpakkam, Indore and Hyderabad. DAE Graduate Fellowship Scheme (DGFS): Graduates and Physics Postgraduates who are selected for the OCES program of the BARC Training Schools and who also have secured admission for M. Tech./ M. Chem. Engg in select Institutes and specializations are paid stipend and tuition fee to pursue a M. Tech./ M. Chem. Engg. degree while retaining their employment in DAE. The institutes allowed are IIT Bombay,IIT Delhi,IIT Guwahati, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras, IIT Roorkee, NIT Rourkela, IIT-(BHU)-Varanasi; ICT, Mumbai. Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must have obtained a minimum of 60% in their qualifying degree as listed in the table given below

2 Applicants opting to be considered on the basis of a GATE Score must have a valid GATE-2015 or GATE-2016 Score in the same engineering discipline as the qualifying degree discipline. Candidates, whose final results are awaited and / or are appearing for GATE in 2016, but are otherwise eligible, can also apply. If selected, the mark-sheet of final result should be submitted by November 30, 2016 in case of OCES and as per the requirement of the concerned Institutes in case of DGFS. Age Limit (Age as on August 1, 2016): General Category - 26 years, OBC - 29 years, SC/ST 31 years, Dependents of those who died in the riots of 1984 (Dep1984) - 31 years, e) Persons domiciled in Kashmir Division of Jammu & Kashmir State from January 1,1980 to December 31, 1989 (Dom Kashmir) 31 years. 5 How to Apply: Apply below on this page Candidates must first register by entering details like name, mother s name, date of birth, id and a preferred login id Upon successful registration, an automatically generated password will be received by candidates to their ID. Candidates must log in and enter their personal details and academic qualifications. They must also upload their their recent passport sized photograph (4.5x3.5cm) in JPG format (of size not more than 50 kb) and a scanned copy of their signature (2x4.5cm, in JPG format with size not exceeding 20 kb) Candidates applying on the basis of GATE-2016 Score are required to fill in their GATE details by March 27, 2016 after declaration of the GATE results Candidates applying on the basis of a GATE-2015 Score must upload their GATE Score during the Application Process. Applicants with a GATE-2016 Score must register and fill in all details relevant to the admission process, prior to the declaration of GATE-2016 results, before March 27, 2016 Payment of application Fee and Final Submission of Application Form: Candidates must next pay the Application fee of Rs 500 plus bank charges if applicable. No fee for women candidates and SC/ST/Pwd candidates as well as Dependents of Defence Personnel Killed in Action (DODPKIA) Payment can be made Online through net banking / debit card / credit card / bank challan through SBI Payment Gateway. Candidates are required to enter their basic details like Login ID, Name, Father's name, Date of Birth and Registered Mobile Number in the Gateway page. The data entered in this page should match the data entered by the candidate in the BARC Online application also. Through Challan: Candidates must download the Challan from the Payment Gateway and make the payment in any branch of State Bank of India. After payment, candidates are required to wait for a period of three days for their payment to be verified. Once the payment transaction is verified, candidates will receive a mail fro the BARC authorities. After receiving this mail, candidates are required to login and complete the final submission of the application. In case of non-receipt of the mail within three working days after payment, candidates should contact the helpdesk. Candidates who fail to complete the final submission will not have their applications accepted
