1 College offers regular courses in Intermediate Senior Secondary Level and Undergraduate Degree Programmes in Arts, Science, and Commerce stream. UGC Sponsored Degree Level regular course in Industrial Fish & Fisheries, Certificate, Diploma and Advance Diploma Courses in Entrepreneurship Development and Herbal Farming run as Vocational Courses. Regular courses in Post Graduate classes are on the anvil to begin shortly. All courses except the Post Graduate Programme run on annual session mode. 1. Students have to clear sessional examination conducted on internal and annual basis before they are being promoted for the next session. Students promoted

2 in standard XII have to clear a test examination before being sent up for appearing at the final examination conducted by the Bihar Senior Secondary School Examination Board, Ptna. Aggregate of maximum allotted marks to all subjects for each session (XI & XII) and test examination will be of 500 marks and examination will be conducted in five theoretical sitting. Time schedule for the practical examination will be announced on the day during any of the theoretical examination. 2. Three years Integrated Honours Level Bachelor Degree Programme: College runs Three Years Bachelor Degree Honour Courses in following streams ; I. B.A II. B.Sc. III. B.Com. College offers Honours programme in different subject of Science, Atrs and Commerce streams in Bachelor s Degree Courses. Students desirous to take admission in Bachelors Degree honours programme must have passed and obtained +2 Intermediate Level Senior Secondary School Examination certificate from recognized university, Board or Institution. For selection of Honours subject in Bachelors degree programme students must have obtained above 45 percent marks in the college are carried out as per statutes of the university and strictly follow the basis of merit in selection process in admission to any courses. In determining seats for \SC/ST, \Dalits and Maha Dalits, Backward Classes, Sport person, NCC, NSS, Scout and Guide, Physically Challenged & Weaker Section of the society, women, Defence personals, Music and Art quota is granted as per Act of the State/Union Government updated time to time. Seat available in various subject in Bachlors Degree Honours courses The number of seats for the Bachelors honours level (Degree courses in Arts, Science and Commerce) are fixed by the University. Admission in all courses is made in order of merit as per lists brought out by the admission committee constituted under chairmanship of the principal of the college. A student declared pass or promoted in Degree part I or Part II annual examination shall have to be admitted to Degree Part II but he/she will have to clear all previous backlogs of Degree Part I or Part-II as applicable before appearing for the Degree part- III annual examination.

3 Degree Part I : Courses Study A student, aspiring for Bachelor s degree honours programme will get admission in Degree Part- I shall have one compulsory paper, two papers of one honours subject and two optional papers of two subsidiary subject. A subject opted for honours cannot be opted as any of the subsidiary subject. Courses of study of Degree Part- I comprise five papers and each paper of 100 Marks. There will be one honour subject comprising two paper of 200 Marks and one compulsory paper of 100 marks. There will be two subsidiary subject 100 marks each. An honours programme in Bachelors Degree is available in following subject. Faculty wise arrangement of honours subject are as follows and a student has to opt one subject from one of the faculty as honours subject. B.A. Honours Subject B.Sc. 4 Besides honours and the compulsory subjects at Degree Part I level courses the subsidiary subjects are arranged in group and students have to select two subject (other than honours subject) from two different group and students have to select two subject (other than honours subject) from two different group as subsidiary paper. In selection of Honours and subsidiary subject student does essentially have to opt for subject from the same faculty. That means subsidiary subjects are to be selected from the same faculty to which the honours subject is concerned. Students desirous to pursue honours course in a subject cannot opt same subject as one of his/her subsidiary subjects. Distribution of marks at Bachelor's Degree Honours courses Part I level examination would comprise 500 marks in aggregate as follows; One compulsory paper of 100 marks, two Honours papers of 100 marks each and one paper each of two subsidiary subjects of- 100 marks each. A Student taking admission in Bachelors Level Honours Degree courses has to opt for two optional subject as subsidiary paper besides Honours subject selecting one subject each from any two groups listed below: Courses Group-A Group-B Group-C Group-D B.A. Honours History, AIH., Economics & Rural Economics Sociology, Anthropology, Geography & Pol.Sc, Psychology, Philosophy & B.Sc. Honours Business Management & Communication Business Economics & Environment D-II, Indian Economy & Entre Development D-II, Money Theories & Financial Institution Two subject selecting maximum one subject from any group concerned excluding subject opted as Honour subject have to be opted for as subsidiary subject Subjects in group A and B meant for B.Com Degree courses are to be opted for part I class while group C and D meant for B.Com Degree courses are to be opted for Part- II classes. 5 Degree Part II : Courses of Study A student passed or promoted in Part I would be admitted to pursue Bachelor in Degree Honours Course Part- II classes in 3 years integrated programme. Distribution of marks and subjects would be same as in Degree Part-I classes. The College Roll of the student admitted in Degree Part- II would be same as in Degree Part- I classes. Student will have University Roll Number to appear in Degree Part-II annual examination. It means in no case the college class and the University Roll Number, once allotted would very in any of the regular course of the integrated degree programme. Student of Degree Part-II will have to appear in Honours paper III and IV and subsidiary subject Paper-II of both Subsidiary subject selected on Degree Part- I level. Subsidiary subject only of B.Com Part- II Students will change as in table mentioned earlier. Degree Part III : Course of Study : Student passed or promoted in part I and Part-II would be admitted to purse Bachelor in Degree Honour Course Part- III classes in 3 years integrated programme. They have to clear/qualify all backlog of Degree Part-I and Degree part- II examination before being sent up for appearing in the Degree- III of the Final year examination. The final year students have to study four papers each consisting of 100 marks of honours subject and one paper consisting of 100 marks of General Environment Studies. It means a final year student will have to appear for two subjects comprising of 500 marks (Honour- 400 marks and GES- 100) in aggregate GES is divide in two group i.e Group-A & Group-B, each of 500 marks. Examination of both groups of paper would be conducted in the same day in same sitting in allotted 3 hours duration of time Students declared passed or qualified in all subjects opted for in their all three parts, their result would be declared on the basis of aggregate Marks/Score obtained at Degree Part- I, Degree Part- II and Degree Part- III level. A certificate of passing Degree Honours level examination would be conferred to the successful examinees who passed the examination on above basis by the university. Class or division will be conferred on the basis of percent of marks obtained by a candidate in Honours subject in aggregate on degree I, II & III level. A student passing with arts subjects will be awarded B.A degree with Honours in relevant subject. A student passing with science subject will be awarded B. Sc. Degree with Honours in relevant subject. Students getting 75 percent or above marks in a subject in aggregate will be awarded distinction in that subject. The utilization of UGC funds for various schemes has begum through five programmes running in the college premises. A. Certificate Course The college runs one year certificate course under career oriented programme in two vocational subject. A student admitted to certificate course may continue his /her study without any breakage in academic session for one year extended Diploma Course. Students completing Diploma Courses may go for one Final year Advance Diploma course which is equivalent to any Bachelors Honours level degree qualification. B.Sc. (Industrial Fish and Fisheries) Stands for Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Fish and Fisheries. Typically, a B.sc. is a three year course, minimum eligibility for which is an intermediate (10+2) in science discipline. Industrial Fish and Fisheries is a field that is associated with the science and technology utilized in the industrial fishing business. Subjects studied under this degree are Biology of Fishes and shellfishes; Marine and inland Fisheries Aquaculture; Ornamental Fisheries their Management and culture; Fisheries Marketing, Economics and Management; Harvest and Post-Harvest Technology of Fishes; Fishery Microbiology and Seafood Qualify Control; Fish and Shellfish Processing Technology and Bio-statistics. Passed Intermediate level Senior Secondary School Examination with minimum 45 percent marks from any recognized University or institution of the Central or the State Government. : Before being admitted to any courses students are expected that they fulfill all criteria fixed by the university and the College. Admission will be made very strictly on the basis of marks obtained in the relevant examination. College takes no direct admission. Students desirous to take admission in any course in the college should apply on the admission form. The admission form can be had on payment at the college counter during office working hours. Duly filled admission form along with relevant proofs of passing relevant examination, copies of school/college Leaving Certificate, Admit Card should be submitted on the college counter. Admission form submitted incomplete in any respect would be rejected and no claim in this respect would be entertained. Students are, therefore, advised to read the instruction carefully and never conceal facts or mention any incorrect information or do not leave the column blank in the admission form. Students are advised to collect and retain with them the receiving slip before leaving the college counter at the time of submission of admission form. Student seeking reserving should submit copy of the proof of domicile/residence, Income, Caste, or any other substantive proofs claiming reservation in any category. Students seeking admission in the college should apply through admission form along with relevant copies of documents within the prescribed period. Failing in deposit of the admission of the admission form on due date and time no argument would be accepted. The date and time for applying, selection and admission will be displayed on the college notice board, so student are requested to keep in watching.

All information regarding the date of applying for admission, publication of selection list for admission and the date of admission will be announced and display on the college notice board or uloaded to our website so, students are advised to keep in touch with the college notice board or visit college website forany updates or any other bulletin relating to the admission process.
