21 1 PRESENTATION OF GRADUANDS (The Deputy Vice-Chancellor (ARSA) acknowledges the Chancellor and cites) Mr. Chancellor Sir, by virtue of the South Eastern Kenya University Charter, Part II, 9 (I) (a) and (b), the University has power to grant Diplomas and confer Degrees. Mr. Chancellor Sir, in the 2015/2016 Academic Year 823 candidates satisfied the institute and the respective Schools Board of Examiners and the University Senate for the award of Doctor of Philosophy and, various Degrees and Diplomas of South Eastern Kenya University. Mr. Chancellor Sir, allow me to call upon the Dean of School of Agriculture and Veterinary Sciences to present the Candidate to you for the conferment of the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Agricultural Economics.
