NEWLY OPENED PG COURSES DURING The advertisement has been made for admission into newly opened PG courses for Chemistry, Economics, Education for the session as per Government Notification No /HE, Dt and vide this office notice No. 2536, Dt and 2542, Dt ELIGIBILITY Name of the PG subject No. of Seats Chemistry 16 Economics 16 Education 16 The students passing out the Three Year Degree Course Examination from a recognized University/ Institution securing minimum 45% in the concerned Hons. Subjects are eligible to apply. 3. SELECTION PROCEDURE: i. Merit list for admission into the concerned PG subject will be prepared on the basis of Mark secured in the concerned Honours subject at the qualifying 3 year degree examination. ii. In case of tie the candidate having higher mark in aggregate will be given first preference. iii. In addition to the above provisions the Principles laid down by the Govt. of Odisha from time to time shall be adhered to. 4. RESERVATION OF SEATS It will be decided as per Govt. rules 5. WEIGHTAGE: (SPORTS) The weightage shall be applicable if the participation is within three years prior to the date of notification for admission. All the sports events must be organized or recognized by the Director of Sports/ University. All the certificates must be countersigned by the Director of Sports, Govt. of Odisha. (i) (ii) Representing the country at international level: direct admission. Representing the state at national level: 10% of additional marks of the concerned Honours subject. (iii) Representing the University at Inter University level: 5% of additional marks of the concerned Honours subject. 6. APPLICATION FORM & INFORMATION BROCHURE: The application form and the Information Brochure for admission into above P.G. Courses for the session can be downloaded from the College website 7. SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION FORM: The applicants are to submit the downloaded filled in application form along with a Bank Demand Draft of Rs. 100/- in any nationalized Bank in favour of Principal, S.C.S. (Autonomous) College, Puri payable at Puri, through Regd./ Speed Post only addressed to the Principal, S.C.S. (Autonomous) College, Puri by designation only, not by name. The envelope should be super scribed with P.G. Admission into (Subject). The undersigned will not be held responsible for loss in transit or postal delay for submission of application forms. Any application received after the last date is liable to be rejected. Application forms without relevant supporting documents are liable to be rejected.

PUBLICATION OF MERIT LIST FOR ADMISSION The merit list of selected candidates will be displayed on the College Notice Board as well as College website: The selected candidates will also be intimated personally by Regd. / Speed post regarding the date and details of admission. 12. Original Migration Certificate from candidates passing from other than Utkal University. Original Conduct Certificate from the Head of the Institution last attended. Original Caste Certificate. Original Certificates in support of claiming weightage for reservation. 5 copies of Recent colour Passport Size Photographs.
