An open house discussion cum seminar on Importance of Teachers in the field of Education is being organised by Confederation of Education Excellence (CEE) in Crowne Plaza, New Delhi, Rohini. The above discussion will be followed by an Award Function for Teacher s and Academicians with outstanding performance in their respected fields. CEE believes that good work being done by individuals in education field must be recognised, appreciated and awarded formally. CEE being very active in education field realised the above importance and have now decided to give Annual Teacher s Award in September every year. 2. In order to make the above function a big success we look forward for your cooperation, association and participation by nominating the various individuals as per our norms thereby making your valuable contribution in education sector. 3. The aim of the Conference will be to emphasis the Role of the Teacher in Education field at all levels. During the Education Conference large number of individuals/ representatives of various organisations of education sector are likely to attend the conference. The discussion and sharing of views by various dignitaries and experts of the domain would lead to benefit all concerned in education organisations, which will further broaden the outlook for the growth in the respective sectors. 4. 2 CONFEDERATION OF EDUCATION EXCELLENCE Teacher s Award The overall quality of education being imparted in India has always been a cause of concern at various levels. At regular intervals the education policies are modified and upgraded by the government and sincere efforts being made by certain teacher and academicians for its implementation. But the performance of certain group of students are always better than the rest due to sincere hard work and extra efforts put in by these teacher and academicians. These individuals at times remain the Unsung Heros in the academic field which certainly needs to be appreciated and rewarded formally. In order to make full use of the event and time, like our precious award function, important discussion and formal exchange of views related to education will also be organised. 2. Keeping in view the above aspect CEE (which was formally launched on 26 th - April-2014 by Prof R.K. Khandal, VC (UPTU), Lucknow) which is quite active in the education field, felt the need and necessity and have taken initiative to reward these teachers and stalwart of education field formally. It is proposed and decided by CEE to recognise contribution made by teachers and academicians, their respective fields and give coveted Annual Teacher s Award in September every year. In past Confederation of Education Excellence the Education Summit and Excellence Award Ceremony was conducted by Econs, where eminent speakers from different Universities, Colleges and Schools shared their views on Quality of Education. The Educationists not only from different parts of India but the representative of foreign countries also graced the occasion. 3. For educating the students of 12 th standard of UP, regarding various opportunities available at the higher educational level, CEE with its chapter partner has taken the initiative to invite vice chancellor of UPTU on April 2014 for sharing his views with them at Dewan Group of Institutions, Meerut.

3 4. The process for CEE Awards 2015 will commence with the release of Call for Nominations. For the purpose of these awards, the nominators and nominees need not be the members of CEE i.e. it is open to all. You are requested to kindly help by nominating suitable person(s) for the CEE awards. (a) For Nomination criteria see as (Appx A) (b) For Nomination Procedure and submission (Appx. B) (c) For selection Procedure (Appx C) (d) For category of awards (Appx D) (e) Performa for nominator (Appx E) (f) For details of confederation of Education Excellence (CEE) please visit website While nominating your nominee the following aspects may be kept in mind: (a) Members of External Jury of Experts and the Board of Recognition of excellence cannot nominate individuals for any CEE award. Also, a nominator should not be a member of External Jury of Experts or any Selection or Evaluation Committee for that Award. (b) Both nominator and nominee should ensure that the work of the nominee is as per the field mentioned in the description of the proposal. (c) For remaining award there is no age limit. (d) One nominator cannot nominate more than three nominees for the same CEE award. However, one nominator can nominate more than one nominee for different CEE awards. 5. 4 NOMINATION CRITERIA: (Appx A) 1. The awards are open to all Indian nationals for their work done in India/ abroad. 2. The nominators and nominees need not be members of CEE i.e. the Awards are open to everyone. 3. There is no age limit for these awards, except in case of Young teacher s. Award for which the maximum age limit is 35 years. For remaining awards there is no age limit. 4. The contributions and achievements of the nominee should have the potential of significant impact on the future developments in India in the respective fields recognized for the award. 5. The contributions and achievements of the nominee should be properly documented and verified. 6. Nominee should not have received any of the CEE awards in the Individual capacity in past.

5 NOMINATION PROCEDURE AND SUBMISSION: (Appx B) 1. Nominations can to be made by: Heads of Institutions/ Schools/ Organisations/Departments/Honorary/DistinguishedFellows/PastPreside nts/governing Council Members/ Fellows having experience of 10 years or more as Organisational Members. 2. All the documents attached along with should be duly attested by -Head of the institution. 3. Nominations should be made only in the prescribed Nomination Form available on CEE website: http// freely downloadable. 4. A proposed Citation (limited to 30 to 50 words) should be included in the Nomination Form at the appropriate place. 5. Last date of submitting nomination is 30 th August, 2015 (Incomplete nominations will not be considered) 6. Fee for participation is Rs 5,000/- to be paid via draft in favour of Matrasharnam Welfare Society and send at 505, Pearl Best Height 2 Netaji Subhash Place, Delhi 7. For CEE members and Government Institute Teacher s participation fee will be Rs. 4,000/-

6 Selection Procedure (Appx C) The selection procedure for award nomination is as under. 1. The nomination will be first received as per the performa (Enclosed) 2. The nomination will be verified and reviewed by team of in-house reviewers. Any additional information, if required, will be called for. 3. The nomination will be evaluated according to the laid down criteria by the expert team. 4. The nomination will also be evaluated by an independent set of members 5. Winners will be announced at the Conference venue.
