30 Important Dates: February 1, 2018 All applications received by this date will be given equal consideration by the colleges. This is also the earliest date the colleges will issue an offer of acceptance and the earliest date an applicant may confirm an offer. May 1, 2018 Applicants must confirm their acceptance of an offer of admission by this date. (Note: Offers may be issued after this date, check your offer letter for details.) You will need to contact the Counseling and Disabilities Department at the college/university of your choice regarding your IEP and/or Psychoeducational Report before you get an offer to see what is required. 40 Step 3: Apply Go to Select Undergrad (101) Current Ontario High School Students. Create your MY OUAC Profile. Fill in your personal information. Use a valid address. Create a username and password. Enter Access Codes (School Number/Student Number/PIN). Browse and add programs. Prepare and submit your 101 application. Review your selections before clicking I Verify and Agree. Submit with payment, well before the 101 application deadline and any university program-specific deadlines. Record the OUAC Ref. # and keep it in a safe place.

41 101 Fees All fees are non-refundable. The OUAC will not forward your application to any universities until you submit full payment to the OUAC. Fees for withdrawn university choices are not refunded. If you make a change to your program choices after you have paid, there may be additional fees. Base Application Fee: $150 (CDN) For the initial 3 program choices. Additional Choice Fee: $50/choice (CDN) For each university/program choice beyond the initial 3. You may apply to as many Ontario universities/programs as you wish; however, you are limited to a maximum of three program choices at any one university (including its affiliates). Some universities may further limit the number of programs you can apply to.

42 Methods of Payment Credit card (VISA, MasterCard or American Express). Prepaid credit cards and VISA debit cards are not accepted. Online banking (Canadian banks and credit unions only). Normally takes 2-5 business days. All payments must be made in Canadian funds.

43 Step 4: After Applying Review and make any necessary changes. Mid-February, log in to verify your grades information. Notify your guidance counsellor of any necessary corrections. Visit a university. University open houses and campus visits are great ways to experience first-hand what campus life is like and help you decide which university is the best fit for you. Expect to receive either a conditional offer of admission or a refusal from the universities you applied to by the end of May.

44 Important Dates January 17 th, 2018 Deadline to submit your completed application to the OUAC. The OUAC still processes applications received after this date and distributes them to the universities; however, specific university deadlines will apply. The initial application includes all final grades from completed Grade 11 and 12 courses and a list of all current-year courses in progress. May 29 th, 2018 The latest date you can expect the following responses from an Ontario university: an offer of admission; a refusal; or a deferral, pending additional information. June 1 st, 2018 The earliest date you may be required to respond to an Ontario university offer of admission and give a financial commitment (e.g., registration deposit, residence deposit, etc.).
