Eligibility Criteria for the post of Assistant Professor in PB-III with AGP of Rs.6000/- plus usual allowances:- 1. Good academic record as defined by the concerned university with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master s Degree level in a relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university. 2. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or a similar test accredited by the UGC. Last Date to apply is within 14 days from publication of this corrigendum. Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria may apply for the posts mentioned in Column no 04 in the prescribed format only along with the requisite application fee. The General conditions mentioned with the advertisement dated 22 nd Sept 2013 shall remain the same. Applications received for the posts mentioned in Column no.3 shall stand annulled (except commerce). College reserves the right to fill or not to fill the above mentioned post/posts. The number of posts Unreserved or Reserved in a Department may increase or decrease as per University of Delhi rules. The same shall be notified through the college website. 3 Essential Qualification for the post of Assistant Professor in PB-III (Rs ) with Academic Grade Pay of Rs.6000/- plus usual allowances as admissible in University of Delhi 1. Good academic record with at least 55% (50% for candidates belonging to SC/ST, PWD ( Person with Disability)viz physically and visually disabled or those who passed their Master s degree prior to and hold a Ph.D degree) or an equivalent grade of B in the 7 point scale with letter grades O, A, B, C, D, E & F at the Master s degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from a foreign University. 2. Candidates must have qualified the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC/CSIR or a similar test accredited by the UGC (State Level Eligibility Test SLET/SET). General Note:- 1. The category (UR/SC/ST/OBC) of the posts advertised may change as per the rules of the University of Delhi. The directions of the University of Delhi in the matter will be uploaded on college website. Candidates who are applying for these postsare advised to keep themselves updated regarding any development in this matter. 2. Candidates who are or have been awarded Ph.D. degree in compliance of the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and procedure for awards of M. Phil / Ph.D. degree), Regulations, 2009 shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET. 3. NET/SLET/SET shall not be required for such Masters Degree Programmer in disciplines for which NET/SLET/SET accredited test is not conducted. 4. The candidates applying under PwD category may specifically mention in application their main category to which they belong i.e. UR/SC/ST/OBC for the purpose of computing the reservation. 5. Applications on the prescribed form must reach the Principal, Maharaja Agrasen College, Vasundhara Enclave, Delhi on or before October 14, 2013completed in all respect with self attested copies of certificates, mark sheets, testimonials etc., alongwith a demand draft of Rs.250/- (for General) and Rs.100/- (for SC/ST/OBC) in favor of the Principal, Maharaja Agrasen College.
