Answer: GHRIETN is situated in Shradha Park, Nagpur. It is about 200 meters from the MIDC Police station which itself is little ahead of the Coca-Cola factory on Wadi-Hingna link Road. Question 5: What will be the Time Schedule of Admission for B.E. first year Answer: Admission counseling starts from April 2016 onwards. Question 6: On what basis admission is given OR what is the Eligibility criterion for Admission? Answer: Admission is given as per the rules available on the DTE website.( Question 7: Explain information about the concession given to the students? Answer: There are Government scholarships & free -ships for SC, ST, OBC and primary teacher concession. State Government tuition fee waiver scheme is also available. Question 22: What is the difference between B.E. & B. Tech.? Answer : Practically nothing. BE is Bachelor of Engineering & B. Tech. is Bachelor of Technology. In Maharashtra most of the universities have named the engineering course as BE. Question 23: How to claim seats under management quota? Answer: Institute shall give the admission schedule in news paper, college website & admission shall be carried out accordingly. For management admissions also all the students must apply in CAP.. Question 24: Is there any scope for students related to research & project? Answer: Yes, Institute has separate R & D cell led by Dean, R & D and assisted by departmental R & D coordinators to promote and encourage research. The cell has R & D norms which are percolated to all. Being linked to industries around Nagpur like MIDC Hingna area and MIDC Butibori area through Industry Institute Cell, the scope for faculty and students to undertake research and project work is increased. Question 25: What types of efforts does institute take for the academic growth of the students? Answer: Institute provides all possible supports for curriculum implementation. Institute takes efforts to complete the curriculum 100%, assess the students through internal assessment examination, home assignment, etc. Enough opportunity is provided to the students to improve their critical thinking and they become lifelong learners. Question 26: From the placement point of view, what type of efforts take place in your Institution? Answer: Institute conducts various skill oriented programmes, personality development programmes, managerial skills development programmes and aptitude development programmes. Mock interviews, group discussion, mock aptitude tests are the regular feature of T&P. Apart from this, it also conducts CRT(Campus Recruitment Training) workshops. Answer: Yes, Institute has teacher guardian scheme to look after personal and academic needs of students. 5 Answer: Institute regularly conducts extension and outreach activities like, services to community and number of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programmes,the technology awareness programmes are conducted for nearby schools students. Institute has mobile computing van for conducting computer training at different places for the community. Institute has students membership of NSS & NCC and conduct various activities under them. Answer : College has sufficient number of classrooms, studio rooms and laboratories, transportation, Bank & ATM facilities available in our campus. There are separate departmental libraries along with centralized library having reading hall for 150 students. A well equipped medical hospital is nearer to the college campus, and qualified doctor is available in the medical room of the institute. College has its own ambulance to take care of health related services. Other facilities like clean drinking water using R.O. system, canteen, sports room, girls rest room, gym, telephone and related support facilities are available on Campus. Answer: There is separate Career Guidance Cell to take care of career opportunities, higher studies such as GATE, CAT, GRE, TOEFL, etc. They regularly conduct awareness programmes regarding opportunities in public sector companies, higher studies which help students to choose the appropriate career. GATE clubs are formed which conducts programmes to groom students for such competitive examinations. Institute has dedicated Training & Placement Cell with a full time T & P Officer and departmental T & P coordinators to assist.
