COOCH BEHAR From: No. : 47 /UBKV/Admission Date: Admission Notification for In-Service Candidates (M.Sc. & Ph.D) and Other Seats The counseling for admission to In-Service Candidates ( M.Sc. & Ph.D) and Other Seats in different specializations for the session has been scheduled on 20 th September, Candidates are requested to report personally for counseling to be held at Swami Vivekananda Auditorium, UBKV,, West Bengal of the University on 20 th September, 2018 by noon. Strictly and positively with all original and attested copies of documents for admission, failing which the candidature of the candidates shall be treated as canceled. In the event of detection any mistake or fault later on the part of the candidates the selection and admission of the candidates will be cancelled. Important Information: A. The reporting will start from a.m. and to be ended by noon. B. The candidate shall have to submit the following testimonials in original at the time of counseling. 1. Admit card of Madhyamik or equivalent and Mark sheets of all examinations passed. 2. SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/PWD (PH) certificate if applicable. 3. Printed admission form with payment receipt in original. 4. Candidates resident of West Bengal, intending to admit URS category in Ph.D programme must bring Domicile Certificate in prescribed proforma. 5. In-Service candidates have to submit NOC from competent authority at the time of admission. C. 1. Self Attested copies of marksheets and certificates for all educational qualification along with originals starting from Madhyamik or equivalent qualifying examinations. 2. Character Certificate from the institution last attended (in original). 3. Transfer Certificate/Migration Certificate (in original) from the institution last attended. 4. Certification for utilizing the intervening period, if any, after leaving the institution last attended. 5. Six copies of Photographs. 6. Degree Certificates. 7. Affidavit to be submitted by the student and guardian separately within seven days from the date of admission as per prescribed proforma available in the websites or in terms of UGC Regulations on curbing the menace of Ragging in Higher Educational Institutions 2009 (Under Section 26(1)(g) of the University Grant Commission Act, 1956) vide memo No. F.1-16/2007(CPP-II) dated Admission and other fees: For Ph.D for Regular Scholar - 20,300.00(for Hosteller). 15,800.00(for Day Scholar) For In-Service* 33, (* Not entitled for Hostel) For M.Sc. - 18, (for Hosteller) 14, (for Day Scholar) Candidates are requested to bring Debit Card/Credit Card for payment of admission fees. Hostel accommodation will be provided to the admitted students if available.

2 9. The name will be striken off form the merit list if wrong submission of information is found. 10. Number of seats may increase or decrease during counseling. 11. Merely fulfilling the minimum qualification will not ensure admission of the student. Final admission shall abide by the terms and conditions notified by the University from time to time for this academic year. 12. Admission is subject to the verification of all particulars in the admission form by the Admission Committee. 13.
