Currently Wards foundation takes part at residential envirnmental project, on m2. It attempts to join between nature, architecture, art and culture and its a shop to create a different socirty that interacts with new standards of its own.

7 About the Curator Born in Cairo 1976, Ehab El Labban leads a dual career;; as a curator and cultural operator, and his creative practice comprises a career of contemporary sculpture in white cube as in public open space commissions. El Labban curated the 11th and 12th Cairo International Biennale, among 2008, 2009, and 2010;; Faces 2009;; Stars of the Day 2006;; and he was Executive Curator for the 1st Sculpture Salon Ehab was Coordinator from Cairo for La Quatrième Pyramide, Institut du Monde Arabe, Paris, France, 2008 & Curator of STILL VALID A Selection of Contemporary Egyptian Art Practices, Sharjah Art gallery, AUC New Cairo 2011 He organized international shows at Ofok Gallery, which he directs since 2005;; such as Solo Exhibition for Spanish Photographer Chema Madoz, 2007;; Alf Leila We Leila, by Spanish Artist Sicilia, 2006;; Contemporary Spanish Art Selections from Alicante, 2006;; Italian Author s Book and Artist s Graphic, 2006;; Contemporary Italian Art Exhibition,2005;; Nuevas Egyptian artists such as Menhatallah Helmy, 2005;; Sobhy Guergues, 2007;; Adam Henein,2007;; Salah Taher, 2008;; Ahmed Nawar, 2009;; Adel El Siwi, 2010;; Farouk Hosni & Nazli Madkour 2011.His current and future projects include: Architecture by the Hands of Sculptors, Describing Egypt, and The First Egyptian Applied Arts Exhibition. As an art advisor at Ward Culture Art Center he curated the shows at Marrakesh Art Fair 2010, Morocco & Menesart Fair 2011, Beirut, Lebanon As an independent sculptor, El Labban has participated in sculpture symposia in Aswan, Romania, and Kuwait, and helped organize Abu Dhabi Symposium. He held a solo exhibition in Cite Internationale Des Art, Paris. His monumental sculptures are installed in Cairo, Alexandria, Aswan, Kuwait, and Abu Dhabi.

9 A selection of contemporary Egyptian Art form her/his subjective point of view. Taking into consideration the role art can play as an explicit guiding model of the society, this collective aims at displaying an in-focus representation of the Egyptian art scene, through showcasing art works by some of diversity of disciplines and trends, that help reform a more concise understanding of Egyptian contemporary art. This collective brings to mind the pleasant experience of witnessing the rainbow, indulging in a complementary spectrum of colors that form a mental image resembling the Egyptian art scene. 14 Armen Agoup Born in Cairo in He graduated from the sculpture department in the Faculty of Fine Arts from Helwan University in Cairo. In 1998 Agop received the Scupture prize, Autumn Salon, and in 2000 he received the Prize of Rome. After moving to Italy, his works have been displayed in the National Gallery of Modern Art, Rome, the Egyptian Academy in Rome, the Accademia Nazionale di San Luca, Rome, the Centro Culturale L. Russo in Pietrasanta and ArteFiera, Bologna, Italy. Internationally, he featured at the Scultori della provincia di Lucca in Miami, Florida, the Toyamura International Sculpture Biennale in Japan, Egyptian Contemporary Art, Toledo, Spain, Veksolund Gallery in Denmark, Art Sawa Gallery, Dubai, Rosa Park Museum in Alabama, USA, Villa Empain/Boghossian Foundation in Belgium and Art Stage Singapore. Agop s recent solo exhibitions took place in LKFF Art & Sculpture Projects in Brussels and AL Markhiya Gallery in Qatar. Agop has continued to show in Cairo, most recently at the 11th Cairo International Biennale and Zamalek Art Gallery. His works are also represented in the Egyptian Modern Art Museum, Egypt, Aswan Open Air Museum, Aswan and Coral Springs Museum of Art in Florida, USA. His latest achievement was in receiving the Umberto Mastroianni Prize 2010.

16 Essam Maarouf Born in Cairo, Egypt in 1958;; lives and works between Cairo and Amsterdam, Holland. He holds BFA in painting from Faculty of Fine Arts, Helwan University since He pursued advanced painting studies at the Accademia di Bella Arte in Rome from 1982 till 1985, before moving to Amsterdam in Marouf s work is characterized by clear precision of form, absence of painting texture, sensitive application for tones, and plain yet expressive portraits. 18 Khaled Hafez is a visual artist who is born in Cairo, Egypt in 1963 where he currently lives and works. He studied medicine and followed the eve- medical degree in 1987 and M.Sc. as a medical specialist in 1992, he gave up medical practice in the early nineties for a career in the arts. He later obtained an MFA in new media and digital arts from Transart Institute (New York, USA) and Danube University Krems, Austria. Hafez s practice spans the mediums of painting, installation, photography and video. His works will be shown at the 9th Bamako Encounters, Mali 2011 and 8th Mercusol Biennale, Porto Allegre, Brazil His works were shown in Manifesta 8, Murcia, Spain 2010, the 12th Cairo Biennale, Egypt 2010, the Dakar Biennale 2004 & 2006, the Singapore Biennale 2006, Sharjah Biennale 2007, Guangzhou Triennale 2008, Thessaloniki Biennale 2009, as well as in the Saatchi Gallery and Tate Modern, UK, MuHKA Museum of Art, Antwerp, Belgium, the Kunstmuseum Bonn, Germany, The Herbert F. Johnson Museum of Art, Icatha, the Queens Museum and the New Museum NY, USA, as well as in Centre George Pompidou, Paris, France. Hafez is Fulbright Fellow (2005) and a Rockefeller Fellow (2009).

20 Naglaa Samir Contemporary Egyptian media artist and culture operator, based in Cairo. Her work falls within diverse disciplines;; including photography, digital image, video and installation. Her work explores with social norms vs. spiritual aspects. She held several solos and participated in group national and international exhibitions. Her work was awarded prizes, among which is the Award of the 24th Alexandria Biennial for Mediterranean Countries. She holds a Ph.D. in visual communication. Works as a part time Assistant Professor of Art and Design at The American University in Cairo. Her curatorial projects include IMAFY (the 1st International forum for media art for youth in Egypt), and A Survival Guide. She founded Passage 35 Center for contemporary art, and worked as Director of the Sharjah Art Gallery.

22 Sameh Ismaiel Born in Cairo 1974, the artist studied Arabic Calligraphy in precollege, then he graduated from the faculty of Fine Art Helwan university in Cairo, Graphic department The Artist works in his art project on the Arabic Calligraphy as a visual unit, working on the units of Islamic Art Heritage, and also from typography in printing materials, and graphite art. Sameh had about six solo exhibitions, (Al-Borda) 2006 with the visual Artist Hamdy Reda in Cairo, Cairo Atelier 2007, Kebab Gallery in Abu Dhabi 2007, Gezira Art Center in Cairo. and also the artist Participated in several gathering exhibitions nationally and internationally like (Art Circle Gallery) in Kuwait 2009, (Arabic Calligraphers Nabd Gallery) in Jordan 2009, (Art Nafura Center) Barcelona 2009, (Graphite Hangar) Barcelona, and locally like (Season Premiere Falaki Gallery AUC) Cairo 2007, Massar Gallery in Cairo 2008,2009,2010, National Exhibition (Art Palace) 2009,2010, Articulate Baboon Gallery in Cairo 2011.

24 Wichahy Abd El-Hady Al-Wachahy born in Al-Mansoura in November 1936 and studied art in Cairo university of Fine Arts and graduated in his works were guidance for both the scholars and beholders of the rhythm of the Egyptian art who anticipate and chase for its unique- numerous generations of artists because of his invasion on mind foreign exhibitions in Egypt, Europe and America, he won many national and international awards in Egypt, Spain and Italy, and in 2001 he was chosen as the Sculpture of the year by the International Biographical Center in Cambridge United Kingdom. Notwithstanding. Al-Wahashy presents to us severe private works, which stresses that there is art, which is capable to penetrate hearts and minds in one time.
