Selection Procedure Selection will be in two stages comprising written examination and interview for the posts mentioned from Sl No. 4 to 9. Qualification and job requirements :- :: 2 :: Additional General Manager(Civil) : Degree in civil engineering from Institution of repute. Candidates having Masters Degree in Management and proficiency in use of computer and computer softwares will be preferred. Minimum 15 years experience out of which 3 years in one step below post. Candidate must have adequate experience in planning and execution of wide range of civil engineering projects. Those who have experience in power sector will have a definite edge. Upper Age as on 01.02.2010: 42 years. Dy. General Manager(Civil) : Degree in civil engineering from Institution of repute. Candidates having Masters Degree in Management and proficiency in use of computer and computer softwares will be preferred. Minimum 12 years experience out of which 2 years in one step below post. Candidate must have adequate experience in planning and execution of wide range of civil engineering projects. Those who have experience in power sector will have a definite edge. In case of departmental candidates who are diploma holders, overall experience should not be less than 18 years. The requirement of 2 years experience in one step below post and age limit not applies in their case. Upper Age as on 01.02.2010 : 40 years. Dy. Project Manager (Civil) : Degree in civil engineering from institution or repute. Candidates having Master s Degree in Management and proficiency in use of computer and computer software will be preferred. Minimum 07 years experience out of which 2 years in one step below post. Candidates must have adequate experience in planning and execution of wide range of civil engineering projects. Those who have experience in power sector will have a definite edge. Upper Age as on 01.02.2010 : 35 years. Sr. Project Executive (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical): Degree in Civil/Mechanical /Electrical engineering from Institution of repute. Candidates having Masters Degree in Management and proficiency in use of computer and computer softwares will be preferred. Minimum 05 years experience. Candidate must have adequate experience in planning and execution of wide range of civil/mechanical/electrical engineering projects. Those who have experience in power sector will have a definite edge. Upper Age as on 01.02.2010 : 30 years. Jr. Engineer(Civil/Mechanical/Electrical) : Three years Diploma in Civil/Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering from Government Polytechnic. Upper Age as on 01.02.2010 : 22 years. GENERAL 1. Age Relaxation : Maximum Relaxation in upper age limit will be as under : i) Upto a Maximum of 05 years in the case of SC/ST candidates. ii) Upto a Maximum of 03 years in the case of OBC candidates. iii) Upper age limit by 5 years (10 years for SCs/STs and 8 years for OBCs) for posts mentioned from S.No. 1 to 6 & Upper age limit by 10 years ( 15 years for SCs/ STs and 13 years for OBCs) for posts mentioned from S.No. 7 to 9 in respect of Physically Challenged persons. iv) In case of Ex-Serviceman, service rendered in the Armed forces plus 03 years. 2. Upper age limit shall not apply in respect of the departmental candidates who have balance service of at least three years. 3. Disability of applicants applying against the quota reserved for the physically challenged persons should not be less than 40%. 4. Relaxation of standard in selection against reserved vacancies- If sufficient number of reserved categories persons are not available on the basis of general standard laid down to fill the vacancies reserved for them, the candidates belonging to these categories may be selected under relaxed standard to fill up the vacancies reserved for them provided they are not found unfit for such posts. Organization/Public Sector Undertakings and Autonomous Bodies should route their application Through Proper Channel or furnish NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE at the time of written examination / interview failing which they will not be allowed to appear in written examination / interview and reimbursement of rail fare will not be admissible to them under any circumstances. 6. Candidates called for written examination / interview will be paid to and fro 2nd AC Sleeper Class(other than Rajdhani Express) rail fare for posts mentioned at Sl. No. 1 & 2 & 3rd AC Class(other than Rajdhani) rail fare for posts from Sl No. 3 to 9 from the nearest railway station of the declared place of residence by the shortest route beyond 30 km. subject to production of rail ticket. 7. Selected candidates should be prepared to serve in any part of the country or abroad where the Corporation has its operations. 8. Persons with higher educational qualification in the line will be preferred. 9. Fringe Benefits : HRA, CPF, LTC, gratuity, leave encashment, medical insurance etc. will be admissible as per the rules of the Corporation. 10.
