Master of Science Degree Programs MS in Business Leadership MS in Finance Completion: In as little as 2 years MS in Human Resource Management & Organizational Effectiveness This innovative program was created for those who want to acquire the skills to become a more effective business leader and take on a higher level leadership role. The newly-designed curriculum was developed with noted industry executives and provides a strong foundation in the principles and practices of effective business leadership. Students learn business strategy, effective communication skills, and project management, as well as how to transition from a manager to a leader. Up to 5 electives from 11 different courses, ranging from global business to operations management to entrepreneurship, can be chosen to match career goals. This program is for those who want to acquire the financial decision-making intelligence to succeed in today s global economy. The new curriculum was developed with guidance from financial business leaders to help students enhance or acquire core competencies in modern financial concepts and practices. Students can choose to concentrate in Corporate Finance, which focuses on the decision-making process used by organizations to maximize shareholder returns, or Investment Management which focuses on a wide range of investment assets, strategies, and options. This program is ideal training for the evolving role of the corporate HR professional. The newly-designed curriculum is taught by experienced HR practitioners and provides a comprehensive and applied approach to topics such as business strategies, talent management, and regulatory compliance. Students can choose from two concentrations. Human Resource Management is for the stewards, and focuses on the legal and regulatory environment, employee and labor relations, and HR technologies. MS in International Management MS in Marketing Communication Management MS in Sport Business Management Completion: In as little as 2 years Format: Weeknight classes This interdisciplinary curriculum prepares students for the evolving challenges of international management in both mature and expanding markets. Topics include cross-border competitiveness, global financial markets, international law and ethics, global marketing, and the management of projects across borders. The program is ideal for corporate managers and executives with international responsibilities to broaden their global management skills. It is also well-suited for recent MBA and undergraduates students who want to add an intensive international dimension to their previous education. It is the only degree of its kind offered in the Westchester area. The newly-designed curriculum provides a broad and balanced view of the principles and practices of marketing communications from a strategic perspective, as opposed to a purely tactical or functional one. Timely topics include business strategy, social media, global marketing strategies, communication ethics, brand management, and consumer behavior. The program is ideal for those who want to pursue a career or enhance their proficiency in marketing, public relations, and corporate communications. Considered the largest and fastest growing sport management program in the tri-state area, students gain the knowledge and the business skills to take on a leadership role in the sports industry. It is ideal for those who want to enter or move up in the sports business, including industry professionals, career changers, and recent college graduates. A highlight of the program is an internship, secured with the help of faculty members, which prepares students for middle and upper level positions in professional sports, intercollegiate athletics, and amateur and youth athletic organizations. Alumni from the program have secured jobs with all four professional New York sports teams as well as the U.S. Tennis Association, the Olympics, and a myriad of associations and agencies. Industry executives can use work experience to fulfill the internship requirement. Accelerated Programs Advanced Certificates Accelerated Bachelor s & Degree Completion Dual Degree Option Most of our MS programs also offer 4-course advanced certificates that can be completed in just 6 months. They have been designed for experienced professionals who wish to upgrade or update their skills. Only those with either a master s or a bachelor s degree and two years related work experience are eligible to apply. These 120-credit programs, offered in various business disciplines, provide students with the skills, professional knowledge, and academic breadth required to meet the challenges of today s workplace. Up to 75 credits may be eligible for transfer and, once admitted, students may challenge up to 12 additional credits for life-experience. Bachelor s degree students at Manhattanville may be eligible to apply up to 12 graduate credits to both their undergraduate and graduate requirements by enrolling in one of our BS/MS dual degree programs.
