Grade History Report Quick Print The Grade History Report will generate a list of students and their Grading History from the current and past school years depending on the ranges set in the report template. This report is very useful when troubleshooting GPA and credit discrepancies in report cards and transcripts because it prints all class information and Grade Marks that the students earn in each Grade Bucket for their classes. The report includes earned credits, total credits and the GPA by year. To access the Grade History report, navigate to Office, Grading, and Reports.
Select Grade History from the list of Grading Reports. There are 2 Skyward provided templates that you can Print or Clone to make modifications to the template ranges. The first Skyward provided template will print the current year
courses only for all students. The second template listed will print all Grade History for current and prior years for all students. Since these are Skyward provided templates, you can t edit them. Select Clone to clone the highlighted template or select Add to create a new template. Template Description: Enter a Template Description to help identify what report you are creating. Student Selection Select By Range.
By Range: Select the Ranges button under Student Selection to run this report for a range of students. You can set these ranges wide open to print for all students in the entity or narrow it down to print a selected group of students. For example, you could set the Grade/Grad Yr range to 12 in the low and 12 in the high to only view the Grade History for the seniors. A common range to set in this report is the Student Status to only Active. Select By Individual.
By Individual: The Grade History Report can also be run By Individual students. This option would be used if you wanted to run this for a specific student or group of students. You can enter in the student name in the Student field and select add to run the report for that student. You can add just one student or multiple students.
Ranges to Use: The option that you select here is what will be used to define what grade history records for each student should be included in the report. Use Historical GPA(Audit)Ranges: If you select this option, the Audit ranges that are predefined in the GPA setup is what the report will use for ranges. These ranges can t be changed in this report template. They are setup by navigating to Office, Grading, Product Setup, Configuration, GPA Setup, and Auto GPA. Use User-Defined Ranges: If you select this option you can define your own audit criteria for the ranges that you d like the report to pull. For example, you can specify a specific Course or Subject Range or you can specify whether to Include Courses with a Transcript GLO.
Printing Options Grading Period: There are 2 different options in the Grading Period drop down menu. Always Use Last Completed: This will always look at the last completed Grading Period. Run for Grading Period: This will allow you to specify for which grading period you want to run the Grade History report. You can select any additional options that you would like to print on the Grade History report including which GPA to print if you have different GPA Methods setup in your entity. You can select what Orientation to print the report. The Orientation will always be Landscape if you select to print multiple GPA methods.
Quick Print The Grade History Report can also be printed in the Grades Tab within the Student Profile. To access the Grade History Quick Print Report, navigate to Students, Students, Student Profile, Grades Tab, and select the Quick Print button. Report: After selecting the Quick Print button, you will select the Grade History Report button.
Template: In the drop down menu, you will see any templates that have been created in the Grading Reports screen for the Grade History Report located by navigating to Office, Grading, Reports, Grade History. You also have the ability to click on the underlined Template link. When clicking on the underlined Template link, you have the ability to create new templates for the Grade History Report just as you can from the Grade Reports screen (Office, Grading, Reports, Grade History Report).
