Parent Information Sheet JUNE 2018 Please find below useful information and reminders for the month of JUNE 2018. Dear Parents, New School Uniform Please find below information relating to the new school uniform. Change can be challenging. Our school team appreciate this. As such it has been agreed that next academic year will be a TRANSITIONAL year to the new uniform. Whilst most families will move directly, it is understandable that others will take their time to transition. To facilitate this and avoid unnecessary financial burden we are suggesting that children moving into year 7 (final year in Primary) are welcome to wear out their current grey school uniform, rather than purchase a complete new uniform for one year only in Primary. Year 7 are also welcome to purchase and wear the new uniform if they so wish. In addition, those families with more than one sibling in school may also wish to take their time to transition to the new uniform, for example: wearing out the grey for one more year or moving one / two children this year to the new uniform and the remainder of children the following year? It is hoped that parents will appreciate the transitional period, if they wish to use it. He is also providing the uniform at a more competitive price than our previous supplier and the quality is better. As he has only just been informed of the final decision (1 week ago), it will take him a couple of weeks to build up initial crested stock in all sizes. He said he should have stock ready for purchase by mid-june. Our school tie is being made and the supplier will take pre-orders for these and let parents know when the new tie is ready for collection. If you have any uniform related queries, I know Martin (Thousand Stitches) will be pleased to answer them.
