Educational Trust Fund Our Educational Trust Fund is used to purchase books for the children, thus ensuring that the materials they are using, in class and at home, are up to date and of a good quality. The fund is not used for any other purpose. We ask each family to make an annual voluntary donation to this fund of 20. Since writing to you last week we have received many contributions. I would like to thank all those who have responded so far for your generosity. To date we have raised 2,540. If you have not yet sent in your donation we would ask you to do so by the end of this week. This will allow us to use the fund promptly, to ensure that the children get the maximum benefit from the renewed resources. Jackie Wallace
PAGE 2 Fundraising Pupils During the summer holidays Willow Berry, P6, wanted to raise money for charity by selling buns around her neighbourhood. Her Nana helped her make the buns and cookies, then they went out, with her sister, Eden, sold them and raised money for the Autism NI charity. The girls raised 166.24 for the charity! School Uniform Important Notice George Killough, Gull Leisurewear, has announced his retirement. We wish him well and thank him for the service he has provided to our school over many years. George will not be taking any further orders. He will, however, be honouring any orders he has received to date. We have reached an agreement with Gotto Sport on the Stranmillis Road. Gotto will now be our official uniform supplier. This will allow parents to: place an order, as for previous years, using an order form sent home from school; (Gotto will provide a fitting day in school to accommodate parents.) place an order on-line; collect ordered uniforms from the school at the end of June; collect ordered uniforms directly from the shop; or purchase directly from the shop. Gotto hope to have uniforms in stock by the end of the month, for parents to purchase at anytime throughout the year.
