Interested eligible candidates whose names and ranks are in DGHS un-allotted candidate list announced in the MCC / JSSU website are invited to participate in scheduled counseling and admission to the vacant seats. Important Note: NRI Applicants 1. The person sponsoring should hold NRI status and residing abroad and such person should have looked after the student as the guardian. A Notarized Affidavit to that effect should be submitted at the time of admission on a hundred rupee stamp paper. 2. NRI quota shall include Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) and Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) 3. Course Fee as mentioned in the schedule should be paid in US Dollars. If It is paid in INR, then it should be paid through the NRE Account of the sponsorer
Counseling Procedure: A) Come prepared for Counseling: The following original documents are to be submitted for verification during Counseling: Documents Check Lists 1. NEET Score Card 2. NEET rank card 3. NEET Hall Ticket/Admit Card 4. 10 th standard marks card for proof of date of birth 5. Marks card of 10 + 2 6. 12 th Pass Certificate 7. Conduct and Character certificate obtained on the School/College letter head/pad. No other certificate in lieu of this will be accepted. 8. Fees: As applicable for the programme 9. Copy of Pan Card (Parent & Candidate) 10. Copy of Aadhar Card (Parent & Candidate) 11. Eight recent and identical passport size photographs 12. Three set of photocopies of all the above documents 13. Course Discontinuation Bond. In addition to the above, the NRI Applicants would have to submit the following additional documents. 1. Sponsor s resident certificate issued by the Embassy of the country complying the Income Tax Rules 2. Sponsor s passport/visa/resident VISA 3. Citizenship of the candidate if holding OCI/PIO 4. Income Tax Documents required as per the Income Tax Act 1961 of the sponsorer 5. The degrees/certificates of the candidates must have been recognized and approved by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) if the qualifying examination is other than the 10 + 2 of India. IMPORTANT NOTE: There will be active verification of the NEET All India Rank (UR / NRI) rank submitted by the candidate with the information available in the NEET website (cbseresults.nic.in). Candidate whose NEET All India rank does not match with the information in the NEET website will be disqualified from the counseling process.
B) On the day of Counseling: The physical presence of the candidate at the counseling is mandatory. Only the candidate & one parent will be allowed into the counseling hall. Candidate should sign the attendance register to mark their presence and fill the registration form available at the registration counter. Candidates will be called as per their NEET All India (UR/NRI) Rank 2017 for document verification. Successful candidates will be allotted seats according to their All India NEET (UR/NRI) rank and number of seats available. Such candidates should produce their original documents for verification and pay the first year fees at the time of counseling. JSS University will not entertain any requests for extension in this regard. Absence of the candidate at the indicated reporting time and date will result in the instantaneous forfeiture of any claim for a seat. The choice of course/campus made by the candidate is final and binding and cannot be altered later under any circumstances. C) After Admission: Admission order/provisional Admission Order and receipt/s for the payment made will be given to the candidate on completion of the admission process. Candidates who require hostel facility should report to Chief Warden of the allotted campus for hostel enrollment. Hostel will be allotted on payment of hostel fees only. Mode of Payment: BDS : The first year course fees (INR) should be paid by crossed Pay Order/Demand Draft drawn in favour of The Principal, JSS Dental College, Mysore payable at Mysore. The payment can also be made by transfer of equivalent Indian Rupees from the NRE account of the parent. However, this should be supported by a letter from the Banker stating that the amount is from the NRE account. Eligibility of USD 300 to be paid at JSS Medical College/ JSS Dental College at the time of admission, if in case of Foreign qualification. IMPORTANT NOTE: Part payment or payment in installment is not permitted. Non-payment of the first year fees on the day of counseling will result in instantaneous forfeiture of seat. WARNING Applicants are warned against possible cheating by unscrupulous agencies that may put out misleading advertisements in newspapers or approach by other means, promising and assuring seats for various courses for monetary considerations or by extracting large sum of money from candidates / parents. All admissions are subject to fulfillment of all the eligibility conditions by the candidate. If it is found at a later stage, during active verification, that the candidate has given false information/certificate or is found to have concealed some information his/her admission will be cancelled without any notice.
