Should the roads be hazardous at the scheduled Activity Center opening time (5:00 AM) and a decision has not been made by the Public Schools, State Tech reserves the right to postpone the facility opening time. Please call 897-5300 for cancellations. All other cancellations will be made by 3:00 PM. SPECIALTY CLASSES Indoor Archery Indoor Archery is open to participants of all ages. Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by a parent/guardian at all times. The Archery Range is a great place for birthday parties, scout gatherings, schools, and corporations looking to build team work outside of the office and much more! YOUTH SPORTS YOUTH BASKETBALL TOURNAMENTS (Third-Eighth Grade) Mark your calendar for our upcoming youth basketball tournaments. Grades 3-8 will be accepted. Double elimination format will be used. Medals will be given for the top two teams in each division. YOUTH VOLLEYBALL Third-Sixth Grade Have fun with your friends and learn the game of volleyball. Get your team ready for this exciting league. Jerserys & practice times included! Shape and tone your muscles Become strong and confident Safety is Number #1 Good posture is the foundation of all exercise, so focus on getting your technique right from the beginning. Don t overdo it with the weights- remember BodyPumpTM uses high repetition to tone and strengthen your body. Start gradually increasing them after six weeks. Be sure to look after your joints by always keeping them slightly bent - Not Locked! Be sure to perform the movements correctly! How Often Should You Attend a BodyPump TM Class? Your muscles will feel a little sore after your first few BodyPumpTM classes, but keep working at it! It will get easier and instructors are always available to answer your questions! After your first few classes we recommend a maximum of two to three classes a week. Remember your body needs recovery time between workouts, so rest at least one day between classes. Ages to Attend Class participants must be at least 17 years old. However, participants who are between the ages of 14-16 may attend and must be accompanied by a parent at all times during the class. 8

CXWORX TM CXWORX hones in on the torso and sling muscles that connect your upper body to your lower body. It s ideal for tightening your tummy and butt, while also improving functional strength and assisting in injury prevention. Registration opens 30 minutes prior to the class start time.
