Degree or equivalent qualification from a recognized university. Desirable qualification - i) After acquiring required Bachelors Degree two years work experience in a) Web based application development b) Database Management c) Operation of Office Automation Software ii) MCA (2) T-3 Computer Operator (Hardware) -- 01 post (Reserved for OBC). Scale of Pay - Rs.5, 200-20,200/- + Grade Pay Rs.2, 800/- B.C.A./B.Tech./BE. in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or equivalent qualification from a recognized university. Desirable qualification - i) After acquiring required Bachelors Degree two years work experience in a) Hardwar and Software Maintenance b) Network administration c) Operation of Office Automation Software ii) MCA (3) T-3 (Lab. Technician) -- 01 post (Reserved for OBC). Scale of Pay - Rs.5, 200-20, 200/- + Grade Pay Rs.2, 800/- B. Sc. (PCM/ZBC or Biotechnology) or equivalent qualification from a recognized university. Desirable qualification After acquiring required Bachelors Degree minimum two years work experience and knowledge of various activities related to Laboratory.
(4) T-3 (Field/Farm Technician) -- 01 posts (Reserved for OBC) for IISR Regional Research Centre, Motipur (Bihar State). Scale of Pay - Rs.5, 200-20,200/- + Grade Pay- Rs.2, 800/- B. Sc. (Ag. /Botany) or equivalent qualification from a recognized university. Desirable Qualification- After acquiring Bachelors Degree minimum two years work experience in field/farm activities. (5) T-3 (Field/Farm Technician) -- 01 post (Reserved for OBC) for IISR Biological Control Centre, Parvaranagar (Maharashtra State). Scale of Pay - Rs.5, 200-20,200/- + Grade Pay -Rs.2, 800/- B.Sc. (Ag./Botany) or equivalent qualification from a recognized university. Desirable Educational Qualification- After acquiring required Bachelor Degree minimum two years work experience in Agricultural Entomology preferably in Sugarcane. (6) T-1(Lab Assistant) -- Two Posts (Reserved for OBC). Scale of Pay - Rs.5, 200-20,200/- + Grade Pay Rs.2, 000/- Matriculation with at least one year Certificate from a recognized institution in the relevant field. Desirable Qualification - Experience of two years in lab work. (7) T-1 (Fitter) -- 01 post (Reserved for OBC). Scale of Pay - Rs.5, 200-20,200/- + Grade Pay Rs.2, 000/- Matriculation with one year Trade Certificate in Fitter Trade from recognized institution. Desirable - After acquiring required Trade Certificate minimum two years work experience as Fitter. (8) T-1 (Field Assistant) -- 01 post (Reserved for OBC). Matriculation with one year Certificate from a recognized institution in the relevant field. Desirable Qualification - Experience of two years in Field/Farm work.
General instructions for candidates 1. The prescribed qualifications are minimum. Where the number of applications received in response to advertisement is large and it is considered not feasible for the Institute to call all those candidates for selection, the Director, IISR, Lucknow reserves the right to fix the criteria for calling the candidates on the basis of qualifications, experience etc. After screening the applications, the candidates will be called for selection. 2. No age limit for regular ICAR employees. 3. The posts are Non-Government under the Indian Council of Agricultural Research which will be governed by New Pension Scheme introduced by Govt. of India w.e.f. 01.01.2004 mutatis mutandis and as amended/clarified or modified from time to time. 4. The post is temporary, but likely to continue. 5. Applications should be submitted in the proforma appended, strictly type-written, accompanied by a latest pass-port size photograph. In-service candidates may apply through proper channel. 6. Crucial date for determining the age limit of candidates will be the closing date of application. 7. No. candidate will be paid TA for attending the written examination/selection test. 8. No correspondence will be entertained from the candidates for selection/ test/ interview/ appointment. Canvassing in any form will be treated as disqualification. 9. Candidates are required to necessarily enclose self attested copies in support of i) Date of Birth, ii) Educational Qualifications, iii) OBC certificate, as prescribed by Govt. of India norms, applicable for the posts of Govt. of India, alongwith their application. Such applications which do not have required self attested copies of certificates will be rejected. 10. The selected candidate will be posted at IISR, Lucknow or its Motipur Centre (Bihar)/Parvaranagar Centre (M.S.) as the case may be. However, any appointee will be liable to serve at any Regional Station/ in any Institute of ICAR anywhere in India. 13. Candidate applying for each of the above posts has to enclose the Bank Draft of Rs.200/- (Except Woman candidate), in favour of ICAR Unit-IISR, Lucknow and is non-refundable. 14. Number of posts advertised may increase or decrease or the Competent Authority may decide to withdraw advertisement for any or all posts for any administrative reason.
Age relaxation 1. The upper age is relaxable for OBC/PH/Ex-Serviceman as per the Govt. of India rules. 2. Age relaxation is also applicable to Sr. Res. Fellows/Res. Associates working in the time bound ICAR Research Projects as per ICAR letter No.19(25)/2011-Estt.IV dated 24.01.2012 for Technical position (T-3 posts only). The crucial date for determining the age limit in each case will be the closing date of receipt of application.
