Funded by participating parent-paid fees 100% self-sustained program. Governed by Iowa Department of Human Services standards for Before & After School Programming. Hours of Operation Before School Program Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 6:30 7:45 a.m. Wednesday: 6:30 8:45 a.m. After School Program Monday Friday: immediately following school 6:00 p.m. Day Camps No-school, extended breaks, summer 6:30 a.m. 6:00 p.m.

Drop Off & Pick Up Follow safety & security procedures of Ankeny Community School District Main building doors are used for drop off and pick up Exception: Southeast, door S25; Northeast, door S10 Before School Program Accompany student inside building, sign into program; B/ASP employee will accompany student to activity space After School Program Student is greeted in cafeteria by B/ASP staff Parent or other authorized pick-up person (per B/ASP registration card) presents photo ID to front office employee every day, signs student out of program, B/ASP employee accompanies student to front to meet you Program closes at 6:00 p.m. late pick-up fees charged

Fun, hands-on, disguised learning that supports regular day learning & connects to real-life experiences Teachers receive enrichment kits to implement fun, hands-on, planned lessons Science: very limited in regular day schedule B/ASP: every session includes STEM Different enrichment lab each day of the week! Yes, similar to the regular day, you are welcome to walk your child into the Before School Program on August 23, 24, and 25 How will my child get to his/her classroom? Depending on the site, students will meet their classroom teacher in the gym or students will dismiss from the cafeteria B/ASP staff will help make sure all students find their way Where will my child go at the end of the day?
