Pathways 2 Project This project is designed to help you look through your progression routes for the future. It will be delivered over 4 tutor sessions and will cover Session 1: University Research & Open Days Session 2: Types of Degrees, Taster Days, Summer Schools, FE & Art Foundation Session 3: Work Placements, Study Abroad, Gap years Session 4: Work Skills, Career Paths & Ideas, Apprenticeships, Graduate Jobs, Volunteering
4 Sessions & workbook There should be something in there for you You will download and save a workbook to your drive which you will be expected to work through, complete and browse through relevant websites You can copy and paste useful information to you into it and it will help you later on when you come back to making your choices next year

A word about your predicted grades A* In June your teachers will share with you your predicted grades If you have completed AS exams they will reflect your AS grades and be finalised in September. If not they will be based on our progression exams. You use them to judge which courses to apply for there s no point applying for a course that wants AAB when your predicted/as grades are CCC A B C D E

WhatUni Is an excellent search tool for comparing and researching courses. As you go through your workbook you will be asked to sign up for an account. Write your user name and password in your workbook so you can remember what it is. Use your non-college email if you would prefer.
Open Days It is really important that you take advantage of open days which are open to book now. They are usually open from May Sept but there may only be a few dates for any universities that you are interested in.
Using your booklet Download and open the Pathways 2 project booklet and save it to your drive. Work through the questions which are designed to help you explore all the different tools and websites that can help you in your research.
