Dr. Mason uses a diverse combination of naturopathic medicine, western botanical medicine, physiotherapy, and conventional medical therapies to recover each individual s full potential for wellness. She completed her undergraduate work at Pacific University, then began her study of Naturopathic Medicine, graduating from National College of Naturopathic Medicine. While working within her community, through The Willamette Wellness Community, an outreach project connecting health professionals with their neighborhood, she came to lecture about the benefits of natural approaches to health and healthy aging. She lectures on a wide range of topics, spanning childhood development, healthful aging and nutrigenomics. He is Board Certified in Dermatopathology and Anatomic Pathology and specializes in the microscopic diagnosis of skin cancers, cutaneous lymphomas, and lifethreatening inflammatory diseases of the skin. Dr. Mercer also has a PhD in Cancer Biology and is a faculty member at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City, where he teaches residents and medical students in the Departments of Dermatology and Pathology. He has contributed over 50 articles and book chapters to the medical literature in the fields of molecular carcinogenesis and novel cutaneous diseases.
