Dear Delegates, Thank you for your participation in the International APICTA 2015 Awards in Sri Lanka. To ensure that you are well informed and prepared for your travel to Sri Lanka, we hereby attached the Handbook with some important information for your kind attention and as a guide for you. All to check-in on your own. Be at KLIA at least 2 hours before departure. Please bring your eticket and not forgetting your Passport. For those who are travelling in a different flight, please do your own arrangement.

i. Passport - Malaysian passport holder(s) require a Visa to enter Sri Lanka. Visitors must be in possession of a valid International Passport with minimum of 6 months validity from date of travel. ii. iii. iv. Travel Instructions - Upon Arrival at the Bandaranaike International Airport, Sri Lanka, please produce your passport, ETA approval and relevant visa fee at the Immigration payment counter. Get your VISA stamped on your passport upon your arrival to Sri Lanka. For those who have booked with Cinnamon Lakeside and Cinnamon Red, your name will be paged at the arrival terminal by Walkers Tours representative In case, if you couldn t find the Walkers Tours representative, please walk up to the "Cinnamon Lakeside /Cinnamon Red information counter. Travel time is about 30-40 minutes from airport to the Central Colombo (City). Currency - Exchange Rate: USD1=LKR135-140 (LKR100=RM3.33) subject to fluctuation. Currency can be exchanged at the Airport. Electricity and Communications- Data and voice communication can be obtained from Airport, communications shops and hotels. Recommended Operators : Dialog, Etisalat, Mobitel, Airtel Regular SIM and Mini SIM both available to match any mobile. Electricity : 220-240V. Power Plugs : Round and Square both are common

Please be at the Judging venue a mininum of 30 minutes before the start of your session; you may be there earlier but not later. You may be disqualified if you are not there when your session starts. PIKOM will be there to register you. Bring your own laptop and any other equipment that you require. There will be an Equipment Testing on 18 November for the Malaysian Delegates. Details attached on next slide. Advise to bring your own converter if you are using a Mac Book. Each entry nominee will have a maximum 30 minutes time slot for presentation to and deliberation by the Judge Panel: a. 3 minutes for presentation equipment set-up; b. 25 minutes for presentation, demo and questions and answers (presentation and demo must not exceed 20 minutes); c. 2 minutes to disassemble the presentation equipment Please also note that this is a judging session; not a sales presentation to a prospect. Focus on the uniqueness, benefits, and greatness of your product/solution, the problems it solves, the value it brings, why it is better than similar products out there in the market, why this product/solution should win. Don t You have limited time; make best use of it; on areas that will help your product/solution win the Award. Use the knowledge and information gained from the last coaching. All judging rooms will be in the equal set up and there won t be any confusion. After the Equipment Testing, we will have a final briefing around 5.15pm at the Hotel Lobby.

Delegates with APICTA Badges will be given free entrance to the exhibition Shuttle transport will be arranged every two hours from official hotel to the Exhibition.

Student Forum Date & Time: Venue: 20th from 9.00am to 4.30pm BMICH (The Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference) Transport for Students (including Tertiary Students): - A shuttle bus will take students who have completed their judging on 19th from Cinnamon Lakeside to BMICH at 8.30am. - 2nd Shuttle bus will leave Cinnamon Lakeside at 12.00 noon with the students who complete their judging on the 20th Morning. - Return Shuttle bus will leave BMICH at 5.15pm with all the students Schedule summary: - Opening of the lounge done by the IT Minister or a Gov. dignitary - All students will be provided a booth in the lounge to showcase their products - Local School & Tertiary students and teachers will attend the lounge - Few Industry leaders and intellectuals will provide tips and information to Students and all the participants - Students will be provided Lunch at BMICH

There are dedicated areas for food and beverages etc and the Gala Dinner will be arranged in that area.
