VERIFICATION OF SPECIAL (NON-FORMAL) ADULT EDUCATION PROGRAMS In January 2012 AEC started with verification of special (non-formal) adult education programs After successful completion of the verified program candidates receive state recognized certificate AEC verifies 2 types of programs: Programs leading to knowledge, skills and competences Programs leading to qualification/partial qualification Monitoring of the implementation of the verified programs Operation Plan for Active Labour Measures and Employment Programs

PRIMARY EDUCATION FOR ADULTS AEC in cooperation with UNDP prepared Concept for Primary Education for Adults based on the 8 key competences: Communicating in a mother tongue Communicating in a foreign language Mathematical, scientific and technological Digital competence Learning to learn Social and civic competences Sense of initiative and entrepreneurship Cultural awareness and expression

VOCATIONAL SECONDARY EDUCATION FOR ADULTS AEC in cooperation with the MoES in 2010 started with implementation of the Program for completion of secondary VET for adults with only primary education 8 municipalities Over 2.000 participants

INFORMATION SYSTEM (DATA BASE) AEC as National Coordinator for the European Agenda for Adult Learning implemented Erasmus+ project Support for Adult Education Public Policy Making. This project is under the Key Action 3: Support for policy reforms, National Coordinators for the European Agenda for Adult Learning. As a result of the project we developed information system (data base) of adult education programs and providers working in adult education in the country
