UL MBA Employer ROI

The UL MBA is accredited by The Association of MBAs, an elite group of less than 2% of the world s business schools with MBA programmes. Footing the bill for an employee s MBA is a big investment - one that brings concrete and immediate returns. The UL MBA programme is designed to shape leaders who know how to drive results and build successful organisations. Our innovative format and industry relevant coursework help deliver benefits employers can depend on. Apply-it-now approach Immediate benefits Leadership & Internationalisation Core programme themes Real work solutions Company/industry focused thesis Programme Snapshot 2 years, Part-time 3-day blocks, 8 times per year Next Intake: Sept 2019

From a company perspective, the employee gets great outside insights given that they get to study best practice in other organisations as well as through their peer network. They can bring these insights back to the company and implement through their role. Get immediate solutions to current issues Una McDermott, Human Resources Manager, DELL From day one, MBA students can apply classroom and project learnings to help solve real work problems or to realise new opportunities. Our apply-it-now approach encourages students to put their new skills and knowledge to work right away, generating immediate benefits for their organisation.

Strengthen your company s leadership capability John Slattery UL MBA graduate 2014. Appointed to President and CEO of Commercial Aviation in Embraer in 2016. Students learn the latest techniques in all areas of management, with a strong emphasis on strategic thinking and global leadership. The UL MBA prepares students to handle challenging management issues within the context of a demanding global economy, strengthening your organisations leadership capabilities. The benefit is gained from the employee shifting mindset from operational delivery to a more strategic focused approach. Una McDermott, Human Resources Manager, DELL

Expand your organistaion s international perspective Your employees will expand their understanding of global markets and gain valuable insights into doing business internationally. Our programme includes an international workshop, during which students visit a global business hub in another country and meet with senior management at large corporations within their sectors gaining valuable advice and exposure for your organisation.

Michelle Galagher, 2017 UL MBA Graduate, European Marketing Manager, Maidenform. I learnt just as much from my classmates and my peers as I did the course content itself. We had a great blend of people from public and private sectors, in our class so you get insights and perspectives that you might never otherwise get in your lifetime. Develop new and stronger business connections Not only do students gain new perspectives and insights by working closely with peers from a diverse range of industries, they also form relationships with these leaders throughout the programme, creating long-lasting connections that will likely benefit your organisation into the future.

Increase employee retention Developing high-potential employees pays off in retention, innovation and succession planning. Studies have shown that graduates of MBA programmes remain loyal to their current employers for the long-term, both securing and extending your return on this investment.

The programme is holistic in including a broad range of business imperatives. Una McDermott, Human Resources Manager, DELL Deepen your organisation s management skills Your employees will develop a variety of management skills to complement the knowledge gained through course content, including the capability to make sound judgements with incomplete data and the interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with groups and individuals at all levels.

Recent Sponsors Many leading organisations have supported and financed their employees participation in the Corporate MBA Programme at UL.
