St. Mary School Auction Committee http://signup.com/go/pfojdzt In partnership with the Leelanau County Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition and Leelanau County Schools, St. Mary School welcomes Michael DeLeon from Steered Straight to address our middle school and high school students in an assembly format. During the presentation students will hear age-appropriate lessons about current drug trends including the opioid epidemic in our country and vaping among our younger population. Students will learn about signs and symptoms of drug use, discussion points to prevent initial use, and how to continue the conversation about prevention. The presentations at St. Mary School will take place on Tuesday, October 16, 2018. The Leelanau County Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition is also hosting community presentations during the evening.
