423 Valley Drive, Syracuse, NY 13207 (315) 396-0024 info@eaglewingsacademy.org Hello. Thank you for your interest in applying for a position with our school. Please fill out the enclosed application form and return it to the address at the top of this page. You will receive an email to acknowledge that we have received your application. If your qualifications match our current needs we will call you to arrange an interview with the school's Board. Eagle Wings Academy is a Christian school focused on, but not limited to, helping disadvantaged youth in grades K (6 years old) through 9 th grade overcome the barriers that prevent them from realizing academic, social, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Many of the children that will be attending are functioning below grade level and face many challenges in their lives. We want to present the Lord Jesus Christ as the only source of Hope, not only for salvation, but for daily life! The school is a non-profit corporation and that is reflected in what we are currently able to offer in salaries. It is our desire that each person affiliated with the school have a conviction that he/she is an integral part of doing God's kingdom work in this area of the city, with the students whom He sends. It is this compelling call that will help to sustain the vision when things get rough. Eagle Wings Academy is a not-for-profit Christian school operating with a homeschool mindset. We assess students for their academic performance level and focus our instruction on closing any academic gaps while helping them reach their potential in each subject. We have multi-graded classes in which individualized instruction is given. Everyone will assume various responsibilities to ensure that we cover all the required courses, as well as focus on individual needs. We look forward to your response and to seeing the team that the Lord is putting together for the upcoming year. In our Lord's Service, Eagle Wings Academy Board of Directors

Eagle Wings Academy Employee & Volunteer Lifestyle Statement Eagle Wings Academy is an evangelical Christian ministry dedicated to the belief that faith in Jesus Christ and obedience to His Word and commands is the solution to the problems that face students. He is the only one who can truly give them hope and purpose for their future. Many of our students do not come from homes where the love of Christ or a godly lifestyle is exhibited. Drug and alcohol abuse and sexual promiscuity can be present. In fact, EWA staff and faculty members may be the only positive Christ-like example and influence that students have encountered. It is therefore imperative that EWA employees and volunteers, as believers, exhibit a Godly lifestyle and example while modeling Christ's redeeming and life-changing power. It is understood that believers differ in the particulars of this according to personal conviction and their own upbringing. The following however, are the standards for the Eagle Wings Academy faculty, staff, and volunteers. Faculty, staff, and volunteers of EWA are never to engage in the use, sale, or distribution of any illegal drug or substance. Faculty, staff and volunteers are not to engage in the consumption of tobacco products of any kind in the presence of students. Furthermore, they are not to advocate or make light of tobacco use to any members of the student body. Faculty, staff, and volunteers are to refrain from the use of swear or curse words. Faculty, staff and volunteers of EWA are not to engage in or advocate premarital or extramarital sex. To avoid even the appearance of sin, unrelated individuals of opposite genders should not cohabit. There is considerable difference of opinion and conviction among Christians on the consumption of alcoholic beverages. While some were raised to believe that alcoholic use of any kind at any time was wrong, other Christians have varying degrees of tolerance and agreement as to what is appropriate. EWA faculty, staff and volunteers should never consume alcohol or advocate its use in the presence of students.
