Application Process and Information TUITION FEES Tuition for the 2017-2018 school year is $7,400 for Kindergarten to Grade 12 and $19,900 for International Students. Tuition fees for the 2018-2019 school year will be determined by the Board of Directors at their January 2018 meeting. Vancouver College issues a charitable donation tax receipt for the religious portion of the tuition. The exact amount is determined annually using a formula created by the Society of Christian Schools in British Columbia in collaboration with Canada Revenue Agency. SUPPORTING VANCOUVER COLLEGE Since 1922, Vancouver College has benefited from the dedicated support of our community and a strong tradition of giving. As we approach the school s centennial, we stand at the crossroads of Vancouver College s history. The Our Next Century Campaign is a $36 million campaign that will fund our academic vision and campus redevelopment plans. The renewal of our aging buildings is a seismic imperative. Gifts to the campaign may be directed towards our three funding priorities: the Capital Reserve Fund for our new campus, the Bursary Fund ensuring families receive financial assistance for tuition, and the School s Greatest Needs Fund for the emerging needs of the school. Vancouver College asks all families in our community to fully participate by supporting Our Next Century. Every gift, of every size, is critical for us to reach our shared goal. For more information about the Our Next Century Campaign please visit www.ournextcentury.ca or contact Ronith Cogswell, Director of Advancement. THE BLESSED EDMUND RICE BURSARY PROGRAM In the spirit of Blessed Edmund Rice, who founded a congregation of lay religious dedicated to the education of youth, Vancouver College strives to provide financial assistance to families who may be unable to pay full tuition. Families may apply for a bursary once their son has been accepted to Vancouver College. The Bursary Application Form is available online on the school website (www.vc.bc. ca) under Admissions/Financial Aid and at the main office. All applications are held in strict confidence. FINNEGAN AFTER SCHOOL CARE PROGRAM Vancouver College has an After School Care Program with facilities on campus operating from 2:45 to 5:30 pm on school days.
