The Henley MA Leadership has been developed following extensive research at Henley Business School into the leadership and leadership development challenges faced by today s leaders and managers. It has involved significant collaboration and consultation with a wide range of leaders from small and large corporate organisations, the public sector, government departments, social enterprises, as well as leadership development specialists known as the Henley MA Leadership Advisory Group. This has resulted in a programme based on best practice leadership development and draws on Henley s heritage and reputation for an in-depth approach to developing practicing managers and leaders, through peer group learning, work-based practice, action learning and reflection. The Henley MA Leadership offers real tangible opportunities to put leadership knowledge into practice, with particular attention to ethical, responsible and purposeful leadership, supported by a team of faculty with practical experience of current organisational challenges. Who is the programme for? This part-time programme is designed for anyone currently in either a leadership role or managerial role with significant leadership responsibilities. your leadership journey Stage 1 Developing Yourself as a Leader The Henley MA Leadership comprises three stages. STAGE 1: DEVELOPING yourself as a leader THE HENLEY POSTGRADUATE CERTIFICATE IN LEADERSHIP The Certificate explores leadership concepts and personal leadership development with an opportunity to pursue an elective of your choice. This typically takes seven months, with eight days of residential workshops and comprises three modules. 10
Stage 2 Leadership of the team Stage 3 Leadership in the organisation STAGE 3: DEVELOPING LEADERSHIP IN THE ORGANISATION THE HENLEY MA LEADERSHIP STAGE 2: DEVELOPING LEADERSHIP OF THE TEAM The final stage, in which you will qualify for your Masters, provides you with the capability to develop leadership in others. You will also embark on a major researchbased project investigating a significant leadership or business problem. This typically takes 10 months, with six days of workshops. THE HENLEY POSTGRADUATE DIPLOMA IN LEADERSHIP The Diploma builds on the coursework covered in the Certificate and focuses on concepts and practices around responsible leadership, plus a practice-based leadership project that develops your practical leadership skills with an opportunity to pursue an elective of your choice. This stage typically takes seven months, with seven days of residential workshops and comprises three modules. 11

A good degree or the equivalent professional or international qualification is normally required, but we welcome applications from candidates with exceptional management experience who may not meet all the formal criteria for admission.
