APPENDIX II LIMIT FOR SUPERVISION Maximum number of candidates which a supervisor can guide for Ph.D. research work is as follows : (a) Professor - 08 (b) Associate Professor/Lecturer in Selection Grade - 06 (c) Assistant Professor/Lecturer - 04 Note : Vacancy under supervisor shall be deemed to have occurred as soon as a candidate submits his/her thesis and not after the Viva-voce. 3
