P6 Science Enrichment Activities 1) Aquatic Plants and Animals Programme at Singapore Science Centre (15 April 2016, 2 pm to 5 pm) 2) Sony Creative Science Award (Optional) The main objective of this competition is to promote creativity among the primary students. (More details will be provided at a later date)
P6 Science Enrichment Activities 3) E2K (For 6TAG1 only) programme which aims to challenge our TAG pupils to explore their abilities to the fullest. - The materials are relevant to the students lives, stimulate curiosity and increase motivation to study a phenomenon and its causes. - Each unit includes three elements: stimulus, experiment and application. - Students enjoyed the hands-on activities and were able to cascade the learning of scientific thinking and processes into daily curriculum activities. - It will be held in Term 1 on 21 Jan, 28 Jan, 4 Feb and 18 Feb 2016 from 2pm to 4pm.

P6 Science TIPS to be better prepared for the subject 1) Revise topics learnt in P3, P4 & P5 as these will be included in the written exam as well as in the PSLE. 3) Refer to the Vocabulary List in the preparation for the Science Spelling Test conscientiously. 4) Avoid ROTE memorising of the subject. Be curious, inquisitive and persevere in the learning of science.

P6 Science SciberDiver Useful Website http://sciberdiver.wikispaces.com/ SciberDiver is a web portal containing a repository of the best science websites, specially selected to closely match the learning objectives in the Primary and Lower Secondary Science syllabuses in Singapore schools. The range of e-resources includes simulations, text, images, videos, games, quizzes.

Important Dates Please complete all own revision papers / assessment books by T3W10. After the September holiday, there are only 12 more school days before the first PSLE written paper. During those few days, the class will be very busy working on the 2016 Prelim papers of the other GE centres.
