Putting you on the right path Facing the future and thinking about study options and a career can be a worrying time. Some students are lucky enough to have a clear idea of the career path they want to follow but there are many who are unsure of what the future holds. At Morrisby, we are here to inspire and guide you. Our online assessments and questionnaires give us an insight into your strengths and interests. After analysing your results, we give recommendations for careers and subjects that match your unique profile. In your own personalised area of the website, you can view your results then research careers, search for courses and add your own ideas into the mix. We have information about apprenticeships, college and university courses, and have a vast database of potential careers including salary expectations and different routes to employment. All students get a login for life to our website and database, plus unlimited email access to our qualified careers advisers.
How does Morrisby Online work? We can help you start searching for your dream career from the age of 12 until 18+. The first steps At 12 you can take our Aspirations Questionnaire which is a fantastic start to your careers journey as it enables us to suggest careers you may be suited to. We also include: Up to date salary information Subjects required for specific careers and routes to these careers Links to relevant and helpful websites Access to our online careers database where you can find out more about the careers that interest you most We will also make subject suggestions in order of suitability, matched to your profile. These will help you make important decisions when choosing your exam options at school. The next steps At around 15 years old, we assess your strengths in the following areas: Verbal Spatial Numerical Mechanical Abstract Combined with your results from our Personality Type Questionnaire, we can develop an in depth picture of what motivates you and where your strengths and interests lie. Your results from the assessments and your expected exam grades will allow us to suggest some 6th Form subjects for you to consider. If staying into the 6th Form isn t for you, we will also suggest alternatives including course suggestions and links to local colleges, and apprenticeship information including vacancies in your area.
18 and up Around the age of 17, you will start to focus on what to do when you leave school or college at 18. With access to over 40,000 university courses in the UK and Europe, we offer an in-depth Course Finder service to help older students decide on their Higher Education options. For those not wanting to go on to university, we also provide information on apprenticeship and entry level career opportunities.
