Introduction This report shows retention and graduation rates of a first-time full-time freshmen cohort entering a selected college. It answers the following questions: Out of the first-time full-time freshmen enrolled in program offered by a college for a fall term, what proportion continued/graduated at UA, what proportion continued/graduated in their original college and what proportion continued/graduated in other colleges? Using the table and charts above, we can deduce the following: In fall 2005, there were a total of 234 students who started in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences In fall 2006, 82.9% of the original 234 students continued at UA - 70.9% continued in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and 12.0% continued in other colleges. In fall 2007, 70.1% of the original 234 students continued at UA - 50.4% continued in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and 19.4% continued in other colleges. By fall 2009 (after 4 years), 37.2% of the original 234 students completed their studies at UA - 24.4% completed their studies in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and 12.8% completed their studies in other colleges. By fall 2011 (after 6 years), 62.4% of the original 234 students completed their studies at UA - 37.6% completed their studies in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and 24.8% completed their studies in other colleges. 1 st to 2 nd year retention for the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences for the entry cohorts from 2005-2014 has been stable or slightly increased over the past ten years as indicated by the line above. However, the percentage of students continuing in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences has seen a slight drop from over 70.0% (2005 cohort) to about 65.2% (2014 cohort) as indicated by the blue bar above. Six-year graduation rate for the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences for the entry cohorts from 2005-2009 has been stable around 61% and about 40% of students started in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences completed their studies in CALS within 6 years. Please be advised that the student's primary major is used to determine their entry college, the college where they continued and the college where they completed their studies.
