Candidates not belonging to Category were not considered for the post. B. Incomplete applications (i.e. without photograph, unsigned and without application fee, applicable testimonials etc.) as per terms and conditions given in the advertisement were not considered. C. Applicants possessing following qualification and fulfilling the age criteria as on 26.08.2014 are found eligible: Scientist - Ph.D. (Submitted) in any Science/Engineering discipline OR M.E./ M. Tech. in any Science/ Engineering discipline Sr. Scientist - Ph.D. in any Engineering discipline OR Ph.D. in any Science discipline with two years experience in writing and editing of popular science articles OR ME/ M. Tech. in any Science/ Engineering discipline with three years experience in writing and editing of popular science article On the basis of above parameters none of the candidate found eligible for the post of Sr. Scientist. A total number of 34 (thirty four) candidates were found eligible for the post of Scientist. Details of all the 71 candidates along with the remarks of the screening committee thereon are given in the table below. All the eligible candidates are required to appear for a written exam, to test the basic language aptitude and writing skills of the candidates, which will consist of objective and subjective type of questions. The top 15 (fifteen) number of candidates in order of merit will be shortlisted for interview.
