The University of Hull The National Students Survey (NSS) is designed to help prospective students and their families make informed decisions about the institutions they would like to attend and subjects they would like to study. The results from the 2014 survey, which was completed by more than 70% of the University of Hull s final year students, show that: The University achieved an overall satisfaction score of 89%. This puts the University of Hull in joint 17th position out of all mainstream Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in England, Wales, Northern Ireland and Scotland; and in joint 13th position out of mainstream English HEIs. Of the 37 subject areas, 32 scored 85% or above, with 20 of these scoring 90% or above.
