Eligibility: F the purpose of determining eligibility f admission to the Honours / General Course, aggregate marks shall be calculated by adding the marks in top-four subjects in der of marks secured by a candidate provided he/she has also passed in English having ful lmarks not being less than 100. However, marks in compulsy Environmental Education/ Studies (ENVE) shall not be taken into account f calculation of aggregate marks. Merit Index Calculation F Honours Course a) Merit-list of all Honours subjects will be framed on the basis of aggregate percentage of Best Four marks (Except ENVE) + percentage of subject marks opted f Honoursobtained in the H.S (10+2) equivalent examination. Accding to Calcutta University rules,the candidates who have passed the HS equivalent examination in the year befe 2013 are not eligible f admission.
