St. MARGARET MARY SCHOOL 2018-2019 CALENDAR OF EVENTS & THEME FOR THE SCHOOL YEAR Leaders Engaging, Growing, Observing & Serving L E G O S Building A Strong FOUNDATION Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock." ( Matthew 7:24-25 ) This year s theme is perfect for building a foundation for successful students both in and out of the classroom. We will continue building our spiritual foundation and make connections from subject to subject through STREAM activities across all grade levels. STREAM activities include Science, Technology, Religion, Engineering, Art and Math. By building a strong foundation, we can continue to promote the 5 Cs of STREAM. Catholicity Collaboration Communication Creativity Critical Thinking It is our hope that providing this year-long calendar of events to you early will help you to plan so that you can attend as many events as possible. These events are subject to change due to things like snow days and diocesan calendar changes. An updated calendar will be posted on E-Envelope at the beginning of each month. Please be sure to check regularly.
