Great job Summer!) Due to the lack of interested and qualified personnel within the Grand Valley School System, employ the following individuals on one-year limited supplemental contracts for the Spring 2016-2017 school year pending satisfactory completion of all requirements. Jim Stanley Assistant to the High School Band Director ROLL CALL: Mrs. Stanley abstain, Mr. Hendershott aye, Mr. Jackson aye, Mr. Keeney aye, Mrs. Battaglia aye MOTION CARRIED RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE OHIO SCHOOLS COUNCIL COOPERATIVE TO ADVERTISE AND RECEIVE BIDS FOR SCHOOL BUS CHASSIS AND BODIES: Motion by Mr. Keeney and seconded by Mrs.Stanley to authorize the Ohio Schools Council Cooperative to advertise and receive bids for school bus chassis and body: WHEREAS, the Grand Valley Local Schools Board of Education (Board) wishes to advertise and receive bids for the purchase of one-77 passenger and one-28 passenger school bus chassis and body. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED the Grand Valley Local Schools Board of Education wishes to participate and authorizes the Ohio Schools Council to advertise and receive bids on behalf of said Board as per the specifications submitted for the cooperative purchase of one-77 passenger and one-28 passenger school bus chassis and bodies. HIGH SCHOOL COURSE CATALOG: Motion by Mrs. Stanley and seconded by Mr. Hendershott to approve the High School Course Catalog for the 2017-2018 school year. See Exhibit B. MISCELLANEOUS CONSENT RESOLUTION ITEMS: Motion by Mr. Hendershott and seconded by Mr. Keeney to approve the following miscellaneous consent resolution items: 1. Approve State Road Occupational Medical Facility as the organization of record to perform bus driver physicals. 2. Approve the Memorandum of Understanding for College Credit Plus Alternative Funding Agreement between Eastern Gateway Community College and Grand Valley Local Schools to offer college level coursework to Grand Valley High School students for Fall 2017/Spring 2018. 3. Approve the College Credit Plus Master Agreement between Kent State University and Grand Valley Local Schools to offer college level coursework to Grand Valley High School students. This term shall be from July 1, 2017 to June 30, 2018. 4. Approve the College Credit Plus Affiliate Agreement between Lakeland Community College and Grand Valley Local Schools to offer college level coursework to Grand Valley High School students. The term of this Agreement shall begin May 22, 2017 (first day of Lakeland s summer term) and, unless earlier terminated, extend through May 20, 2018. 5. Accept the School Law Hotline Agreement between the law firm of McGown & Markling Co., L.P.A. and Grand Valley Local Schools for the provision of legal services as outlined in the agreement for the 2016-2017 school year (i.e., July 1, 2016 through June 30, 2017). 6. Approve the following Student Activity Purpose Statement for the 2016-2017 school year: Grand Valley High School Wrestling 7. Accept the donation from Denise Fisher of $100.00 to the Athletic Trainer Fund Account # 3009219. 8. Approve the Youth Boys Summer Basketball Camp for boys entering Grades 4-8 from June 26, 2017 to June 30, 2017 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 Noon submitted and supervised by Justin Turk. 9. Approve disposal of the obsolete equipment/textbooks as submitted by staff. See Exhibit C. (Available to view in the Board Office.)
