National Conference on Changing Digital Landscape in SMART Environment (NCCDLSE) 2018 Background February 8-9, 2018 The world has seen an explosive growth in digital connectivity over the past few years, and knowledge trends over the coming years are expected to lead to even further expansion of communication and digital networks. Making adequate use of information, transforming it, and creating knowledge out of it requires competence and opportunity both in terms of innovation and capacity development. Information and knowledge are, therefore, crucial assets of the knowledge economy. As custodians of knowledge in the digital age, libraries, data centres, information and knowledge centres have a pivotal role in driving organizational and societal innovation in the global knowledge society. Objectives of the Conference This conference intends to provide a forum for discussion and exchange of ideas on the main theme as well as the various themes. The main objectives of the conference are to: Develop a clear understanding on the role of IT, Management Science and LIS Professionals in Knowledge Innovation and Knowledge Management. Discuss debate and develop strategies to manage information systems and libraries in web environment. Identify and share Best Practices developed and adopted by various information systems and libraries. Increase the expertise and provide the best possible platform by educating students and attracting new researchers. Imparting awareness of copyright among the new generation. This conference will offer an opportunity to put forward on legal issues on plagiarism. It will provide innovative plans, debate classic ideas on Content Security. Target participants: This major event expects international participation by information scientists and Information professionals involved in library research, digital library professional, technology application, and other related disciplines in the field of library and information studies. Some of the broad categories of expected participants are as follows: Academic Policymakers and program implementers of the Central and State governments and their departments. Officials involved in academic, especially in higher education. Students and Research Scholars Faculty member, Teachers in higher education and Teacher librarian in Schools. Library and information science professionals Educationalists and academics E-learning communities

Knowledge worker. Content analyst, content manager and content writer. Non-Governmental organization (NGO) members and civil society organizations who are engaged in copyright and plagiarism. CALL FOR PAPERS The contributors can send their papers on any of the themes and sub themes given besides any topic of their interest relevant to the themes or sub-themes. Guidelines for contributors: The paper should be submitted simultaneously for approval to the Editorial Board by the date announced. The full paper will be reviewed by the Editorial Board and the comments, if any, of the Board will be communicated to the author/s for necessary action. The original papers submitted should be typed on MS Word with proper citation as IEEE format. The text should be typed single-spaced, A4 page size, 12-point font size, Times New Roman font type, in word format. The word limit for each paper is 4,000 to 4500 words. All papers should be written in English for acceptance in the conference presentation. Authors should send the copyright form by post duly signed by them declaring that the paper is original and has not been published anywhere. Only selected papers will be published in conference proceeding and the author will be invited for presentation in the conference. Presentation is expected to be of 10 minutes on power point presentation followed by discussion. The text of conference paper must comprise Title of the paper, Name(s) of author/s, their Institution, city and country. Abstract of approximate 150 to 200 words, summarizing the presentation along with key words, full text with proper citation and references. The authors can send their papers as an e-mail attached on library@ansaluniversity.edu.in, or ansallibrary@gmail.com Last Date for Submission of papers: 15-12-2017 Conference Language: The conference Language is English. Conference Themes The theme of Conference is Smart Future: Knowledge Trends that will Change the Future provides a futuristic outlook about understanding, visualizing, and exploring the possible scenarios of the interconnected knowledge generating activities. The conference aimed to provide a global forum for sharing of experiences among researchers, educators, practitioners, and policy makers from a wide range of disciplines such as library and information science, information and communication technology, archival and museum studies, knowledge management, data analytics and social media. Original papers on the areas of interest are invited. The list is indicative and not exhaustive in coverage. The contributors may include any other topic under the broad categories of main theme of conference.
