M.Com (Accountancy) Under Semester Based Credit & Grading System UNIQUE FEATURES OF THE PROGRAMME (INTRODUCED FROM A.Y. 2012-13 BY UNIVERSITY OF MUMBAI) 1. Four Semesters for the Programme. 2. Four Courses per Semester. 16 courses for four semesters; i.e. 1600 marks Degree. 3. Marks per Course: 100 - Internal (40%) & External (60%). 4. Internal for each course in every semester - conducted by the College. 5. Four Semester Examinations (External), conducted by the University in October and April every year. 6. Minimum marks for passing : 40% in both internal & external. 7. Subjects once passed are exempted from reappearance. 8. Automatic promotion to Semester I, II, III and IV, if terms are kept/ attendance maintained (irrespective of appearance/ pass/ fail in the previous Semester Examinations). 9. Semester IV examination form can be filled if passed fully, internal & external of all courses in Semesters I & II.
