What is the MSc in Finance? The Master of Science in Finance (MSc in Finance) program is a two year, research based thesis program offered by the Edwards School of Business. This program was designed to give students the tools and experiences required for a strong career in either academia or industry. The MSc in Finance provides students with a theoretical background in contemporary financial issues and incorporates a strong foundation in empirical methods. Throughout the program, students have the opportunity to question and understand current financial literature and practices, engage with devoted and knowledgeable faculty and staff, and participate in various special guest lecturers and presentations.

Admission Criteria An undergraduate degree in Business or a related field, with a major or substantial number of courses in Finance. A minimum score of 600 on GMAT or 300 on GRE (composite of quantitative and verbal scores). A minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 75% over the most recent two years of study. Proficiency in written and spoken English. Applicants from non-english speaking countries are required to obtain a minimum score of 80 on the TOEFL exam (a minimum score of 20 is required in each of the following areas: reading, writing, listening and speaking). The minimum accepted score on the IELTS is 6.5 in each of the band areas. At least 6 credit units (1 year) of Statistics and 3 credit units (1/2 year) of Calculus.
